My husband is recommended to take DHEA 25 mg per day. I researched brands to try to find a reputable, well trusted brand at a reasonable price and found this brand by Douglas Laboratories. I order this dosage for him, as well as the 10 mg dosage for myself on a regular basis.

I tested low for DHEA so I ended up purchasing these. After taking for about a week I notice that my brain fog isn't as bad and mentally I feel sharper. Staring at the computer screen used to be a chore, and now it's much easier. Recommend.

I am not much for one to write reviews however this is an exception. I have been dealing with thyroid issues for a year now and until recently understood how my blood work actually worked. I highly recommend the podcast Beyond the Diagnosis with Dr. Kylie. In listening to her I realized what my bloodwork was telling me. My adrenal gland was being depleted trying to keep up my thyroid, testosterone and progesterone. Once I figured that out I decided to take the DHEA to see if that would help. Within 24 hours I literally felt like a different human. I had energy again. My doctor has been treating my symptoms but not the problem. The problem has been my adrenal gland all along. My doctor has increase my thyroid 3 times and I still felt terrible. I am still taking my thyroid, progesterone and I think my testosterone pellet has dissolved but the DHEA has made me into a fully functional person again.

I take hormone therapy and part of the regimen is DHEA. I spend about $125.00 p/mo on my hormones. They are not covered by insurance. My compounding pharmacist recommended these to help me with the cost. They are great and 1/2 the price.

I have been taking 25mg DHEA at night time for 6 weeks. For the first two weeks I experienced nausea+slight headache from around noon til sometime later into the night and during sleep I had multiple nightmares (would usually wake up 3 times a night due to bad dreams). Around 3rd week the side effects went away and started feeling a bit more energy throughout my day. I haven't tested my DHEA levels yet to see if its gone up, so I can't really say for certain if this product is or isn't working.

Great product

I was impress how quickly the products was received after ordering. My doctor recommended this product and I have been taking for several years. I have ordered direct from the company but it seemed to take awhile to receive it and the shipping an handling was pricey. So glad to have found I can get it through Amazon.
