When setting the time, In the hours function, if you scroll past a full day it will cycle between 12 and 24 hour function noted by the “A” for am “p” for pm or “h” for 24 hour which displays in the second field.

Yes, it comes with instructions but they are very faint tiny print. If you search online for "cakcity watch instructions" without the quotes, you can find much more readable instructions.

Q: does it fit a thin wrist?

With the smallest circumference the watch can fit being 17 cm, it is not small enough if your wrist is tinier than that. I have 14 cm circumference wrist, and I am a fully grown adult. This watch would be too large for my wrist.

Q: Does this whatch have an hourly chime?

It does, all you have to do is turn it on. When you are in the alarm mode, simply press the start button (top right) until you see a "sig" in the bottom right of the screen. That means the hourly chime is now on.
