if you mean glued on to stain glass, I guess you could. their bottoms are not that even. I'd try a brand with flat bottoms.

Q: Can these withstand heat?

Yes. How much heat is the question. The primary issue is that when these were melted from flat glass squares, chances are that they were not annealed. That means there will be stress in the glass. Adding stress... sudden heating or cooling is likely to release the stress and cause them to shatter... if not explode. As lime glass, they could probably get up to 250 degrees. If they were pyrex (a different glass formulation), they could go much higher. What is the project?
