It’s amazing. Big Yes for us.
Started using it with our 5 year old. We love it! She’s already using it to learn addition and subtraction.

My toddler has been obsessed with learning math. I'm not really sure why but the push to play math games way beyond my child's sill level is strong with this one!? I saw this and thought it would be great to work on those math skills. I like how it is a visual teacher and we've been working on not only memorizing addition but being able to understand addition too. I think we've got a ways to go as my child has just memorized what X+Y equals and doesn't seem to grasp the concept of addition. I like this board and how colorful it is. It's easy to use the fingers to count and we've been making some headway with it. I think the hardest thing is my toddler knocks it over all of the time or takes a "foot" and plays with it so it doesn't have a way to "stand" but it's still a great learning tool. The hook and loop work well but not "too well". Plus the number blocks showing the math problem are a nice touch and the fact they come in multiple colors is a welcome addition.

A Gift That’s Equal Parts Cute and Clever
If you're shopping for a preschooler who’s teetering between “adorably curious” and “tiny chaos goblin,” this set? A lifesaver. These Montessori-style math toys managed to do what a whole Pinterest board of activities couldn't: hold their attention while actually teaching them something. The set includes number blocks, flashcards, a wooden board with a counting side, and a genius writing practice side that’s got deeper grooves for little hands learning how to write. My cousin’s kid lit up like it was Christmas morning and snack time when we opened it — and honestly, I kinda did too. It’s tactile. It’s bright without being overstimulating. And it’s built from real wood, so it doesn’t feel like it’ll snap the first time someone (accidentally) steps on it barefoot. Bonus points for the non-toxic paint, because yes, they will try to taste-test the number 8 at least once.Whether you’re looking for something to support homeschooling, quiet-time learning, or the kind of gift that says “I love you and I support your early math literacy,” this one is a slam dunk. It’s been a hit in our family — colorful, educational, screen-free joy in a box.

Math Fun
This toy is just as described. It is perfect for teaching number recognition and quantity correspondence with fingers. My 4-year-old loved manipulating the fingers and matching quantity. It is awesome that you can start with basic math skills and increase its use for more complex addition and subtraction. The size is perfect for its purpose and stores away easily.

Back in My Day We Had Rulers—Now They’ve Got These Fancy Counting Toys
Back in my day, we counted in our heads—no fingers, no gadgets. If you got it wrong, the teacher gave you a good whack with a wooden ruler. Now they’ve got these colorful contraptions for counting. Soft kids these days probably won’t need math anyway, but I suppose it keeps them occupied.Keeps the young ones busy, so I can enjoy my coin collection shopping channel in peace.Bright and engaging, though I can’t say I understand all the fuss.Seems sturdy enough, not like the toys we had, but it’ll do.In summary, while I don’t see the need for such devices, it serves its purpose.Rating: 5 starsKeeps the kids entertained and out of my hair—can’t ask for more.

Math Manipulatives - Good Learning Tool
The hands were upside down on the item I received and had to be rotated, so that was a little confusing.ProsGood for visualizing math problemsNice included number problem blocks and cards for various learning optionsNice velco design to use over and over again - reasonable quality, especially the wooden piecesConsThe stand is a bit flimsy and easy to fall over if pushed a little too hard when placing the finger positions on the handThe one I received did not include the writing side on the back, which was stated to be included in the description and was a big disappointmentThis isn't really a toy for children to use without supervision, especially for age 3, it is more meant to be educational and done with instruction, patience, and gentle correction. Overall, it is a nice teaching tool at a good price.
