I'm taking this DHEA supplement and so far, so good - no side effects, which is a relief. The capsule form is easy to swallow. However, I do have some concerns about absorption since it's not micronized and contains other ingredients like microcrystalline cellulose and silicon dioxide. Despite this, I'm not experiencing any issues yet. It's too early to say if it's effective, but I'm cautiously optimistic.

Having clients and family members in the healthcare and nutraceutical industry, I am highly attuned to the amount of (a) absolute garbage being peddled as supplements and (b) the amount of blatant lying by some of these manufacturers. This is why I only use or order product where I know the brand has been subjected to third party testing and verification. Bronson is one of those, and this DHEA is in a usable form and at the right amount for efficacy (interesting how many less reputable manufacturers will vary wildly from known safe/effective levels because they can).DHEA is important but doesn't work for everyone the same way so I can't attest to any specific benefits but if it's something you have determined you could benefit from, this brand is likely one of the better ones.

This DHEA is a Great Choice for health because it is a precursor to testosterone in both men and women! Yes! Women have testosterone too but just smaller amounts. So, I take DHEA and my husband gets DHEA too. The recommended dose for men is 25mg a day which is one reason I ordered this DHEA.DHEA is produced in the adrenal glands and ovaries. The wild thing is that the body converts DHEA into testosterone and estrogen depending on what is needed. It’s amazing to me that the body can do that!During perimenopause and menopause, estrogen and testosterone decrease, so taking DHEA helps keep our hormones in balance. Seems like a decent supplement. Nothing crazy noticeable, but I'll keep taking them and see if I notice anything over time. The capsules are easy enough to swallow, and I like that they're vegetarian.

Less than 10 bucks for 200 days of DHEA for me is wonderful. I split the capsules in half because I don’t need more than 12.5 mg / day. I check my DHEA-S levels every few weeks to make sure. At 25 mg I was way off the charts, so be careful when you take these and test your levels too. Some people need more and some need less. Supplementing with DHEA can help increase testosterone, that’s why I take it. So I check my testosterone levels regularly too. I appreciate this is non gmo and comes from a reputable company. That the only reason I felt comfortable trying it out. It’s also nice they don’t expire until next year.
