My cat Kovu has a history of severe blockages. He had surgery in 2018 to widen his urethra however in October 2022 he began peeing around the house, peeing small concentrated amounts, and he had blood in his urine again. X-rays confirmed a large stone in his bladder and his urethra and bladder were both very inflamed and painful. We tried several rounds of prescription medication and food with no long term relief. After some research I purchased this supplement along with several others to try and help him. I started them all around the same time because of how bad he was so I can't say that all the success was due to this product alone. However, after 3 MONTHS of veterinary care failing, this supplement along with the others had him peeing in the box, with no blood, no pain, and peeing large amounts in less than a week. If you or your pet struggle with crystals I definitely recommend this product!

I bought this product to help with my cat that just had a severe urinay crystal blockage. Spent a ton of $$ to save his life. He survived when the docs said to put him down. I refused. When I could take him home after he was a miracle survivor I put him on a natural remedy solution of this corn silk. I had been using other herbal extracts that did work but its like he needed an additoal booast. I added this to the regimen and low and behold it worked amazingly and fast and knocked out the remaining issue going on. His brother started showing signs too of a blockage going on. Added this (few drops )and other extracts to his food and knocked it in the bud before it developed further. Will always keep this product in my repretoire for my cats and myself. It taste like cornsilk so the cats are not bothered by it. I do not use it daily I keep them on a moist chicken food diet and watch for signs of any urinary issues, frequent urinating, crying and sensitive in the back quarter, spot urinating, any tinge of blood in urine.

Yu Mi Xu or any corn silk tincture can work for us as an alternative to Oxybutenin for over active bladder. This corn silk tincture is especially good and reliable because of the reputation of Herbpharm.In traditional Chinese Medicine, and Native American Medicine, this is a gentle and soothing herb that eases the bladder and kidney and is good in tcm damp heat.Do a web study or go to a naturopath or acupuncturist for recommendations. Oxybutenin by rx has a very high dementia side effect. That is why we use this for symptoms of overactive bladder. I bought this because a natural doctor online recommend it for kidney stones which he had and found out about how this will disintegrate them and the pain within an hour. Well I am happy to report it did the same for my Hubby who had been suffering and went to the hospital and was scanned and told he had one about the size of a quarter and a bunch of little pebble size ones. So after trying the olive oil and lemon juice several times which did help a lot we found out about this cornsilk and it's been a heaven sent! He has no more pain and quickly I might add for about 2 months now. There is also a cornsilk tea I bought to try which is suppose to help too but he hasn't tried that yet. I highly recommend this product.

This product is helpful, but I didn’t like the strong alcohol taste. Also, I would like to know the strength- how many mg per dose? I still gave 4 stars because it was helpful. I’m not sure if I will reorder however because of the strong taste and no strength listed.

Whenever I feel there's grit or sand or a small stone trying to go down I take this and the feeling goes away in a short time. I always keep a bottle or two at hand.
