Vilgain Energy & Focus Drink ⁠–⁠ Lemon and lime

I decided to decant this drink into a glass for tasting, and unfortunately, I think I should have left it in the can, it doesn't look overly appetising with an appearance of used dish water.I'm not a regular drinker of energy drinks but I was keen to try this one with the given claims on the product page.Ignoring the appearance I found the taste a bit insipid, thankfully it doesn't have the overpowering taste that some other energy drinks have, but I wouldn't describe it as a refreshing taste.I exercised after drinking this and although I felt alert well into the evening I didn't feel overly energised, but your mileage may vary.Overall, an energy drink made from natural ingredients without the normal strong chemical taste that some energy drinks have, actually it doesn't have much in the way of taste at all.

This energy drink provides a refreshing lemon and lime flavour that isn't too sweet or sour. It's a great pick-me-up for busy days, offering a perfect blend of natural caffeine and magnesium to help keep energy levels steady without a crash. The drink is light and pleasantly carbonated, making it an enjoyable alternative to coffee. Ideal for those moments when you need a gentle boost in focus and alertness.

At two quid a go, shared between two, we both thought it was all rather insipid.

Kind of bitter and quite sour. It's not too fizzy and it's not that sweet. The taste is not very overpowering but it's not something that I would willingly drink again

This drink comes in a can that is a little bigger than a standard can of red bull. It contains high caffeine and other nutrients to enhance energy and focus levels. The taste is a little bit like natural lime soda, and is not overly sweet nor is the drink laced with sugar. Whilst I found it pleasant to drink, I didn't find it worked to stimulate energy or focus so on that basis I cannot give it full marks. Despite this however I really enjoyed the flavour and would recommend it.

Great drink, refreshing and energising. tastes great without being sweet or tasting 'artifical'

Accidentally drunk this in the evening (~2100), forgetting it had caffeine in it, and it kept me up into the early hours of the morning (3AM). The taste is like a watered-down Sprite (although, a little tart), and it's low sugar, but they replace it with sweeteners. It's about as good as any energy drink you can get in the supermarket I guess, but without all of the extra ingredients. The taste is not going to wow you, but it's cheap enough to try for yourself.
