Really great for either gas or electric stove top

Bibimbap is one of my favorite dishes in the world, and the staple of it is that crispy crunchy rice that you really only get with a dol sot. After much searching and reading of reviews, this one was the clear winner! The quality and durability is excellent. I’ve used it about 12 times since purchasing for various recipes. The ease of just cooking right on the stove top makes life a little easier for my clumsy self (less burns, yay!). There was a small learning curve with how hot my specific stove heated the dol sot, so definitely keep an eye on what time works best with your stove’s low heat. An extra selling point was the packaging, which was mostly recyclable! Definitely a great buy!

I have been obsessed with this for single portion meals! It heats up very well and evenly. I made chicken and rice 3 days in a row, then made ramen on the 4th. It keeps the food nice and warm if you don’t eat it right away. And my favorite part- the crispy rice when you let it sit on the burner.Surprisingly, It is so well heated it never burned the food even when I wanted to get a little more crispy burnt edges, I count that as a positive.

Perfect for making kimchi stew or miso soup for just yourself or for two.

I love this. The shape, size, and durability are perfect for me. I've invested in similar products in the past and I can't say the same thing about those products. I've had this bowl for several months now and it still looks brand new. In the original packaging I received instructions on how to care for the bowl. I'm not sure if this is standard, but I appreciated it. I have followed instructions, but over time, I felt I didn't actually have to worry too much about how I was using and cleaning the bowl. I've previously gone to Chinese and Korean grocery stores to purchase claypots for much less, but they would crack after a while. This bowl allows me to make the same recipes and I think it'll last a lot longer.

Good product. The bowl and lid have a dark brown color while the trivet is black. The contrast is a little off-putting but I hardly use the trivet, if at all. Worth it for the price; I'd go for the trivet-less option.

I like everything about this product. It's super easy to clean, is sturdy, a good size for what I need it for, and isn't heavy.I followed steamed rice cooking instructions, and I was very pleased with the results. This was the first time I've cooked perfectly steamed rice.I will be looking to try other similar products to replace some of my current cooking dishes. It's that good.
