Great splitter but don't bother with the safety guard or 4-way attachment
This is a powerful log splitter that gets the job done. It is easy to use and has saved me much time and effort. Although heavy, it doesn't take up too much space in the shed. It makes an operating noise as you would expect, but it is not deafening. The machine itself is a five-star piece of equipment.The safety guard is, however, very flimsy and logs get caught in it. I took it off after a few hours and the splitter works much better without it. In addition, the four-way attachment only really works with knot-free softwood, and jams often. But once you get the knack, which you will very quickly, you can just as quickly produce kindling with the single wedge.On balance, a very good machine with some unnecessary extras that you can put to one side.

wow! heavy... build or buy a stand for it to save your back. Does exactly as expected. Keep away from children

Great splitter
The surround is easily bent so ended up taking it off. It would have had more stars if the cage was better. But 5* for the splitter on its own. Splits knotty wood with ease. Saves the back using the axe. Very quick and easy to use.

Brilliant product. But poor delivery service
Brilliant product. But very poor delivery service. Heavy item and just left on doorstep. Said they had tried to deliver but was still in depot.not happy about delivery at all

Easy to use. Power full for its size
Works well. Very power full. Easy to use. Only down side is the guards are very flimsy, but easier to use without them.

I was refused credit by Barclayplan requiring a £109 x3monthly paments, my limit is £100 a month. having an unused £500credit limit. JUST finish paying nearly twice as much for a JCB generator over 5 months.seems they do not want business, also please cancel order for log splitter because due to the above i have no option.
