Not put all the way together yet, but I got about halfway there. I’m finishing it tomorrow. So far, I get why others say it’s a pain to put together. The little bars that go in the holes on the rails for the twin size frame; they kept falling out while trying to put them all in at once. The key to it is, I slowly go from left to right. Each of the 3 screws that go in the bars, I did one at a time as I moved to the right. It just takes a little longer.. maybe a bit tedious.I haven’t tried to put the twin bed frame on the top yet but I’m right there. Will update when finished.

It’s not bad but the pictures are misleading a little perhaps I didn’t pay enough attention but the pics make it look like the bottom mattress is elevated but it isn’t at all. So your bottom mattress will be on the floor. Also the bars for the top bunk are just barely long enough, when I climbed on top to test it out (weight limit says 250 I weigh 196) a couple of the bars popped out of the holes & I had to get them back in. Otherwise decent but I made sure my kids know not to jump on it. Was easy to assemble
