Having now purchased 5 Maison Alhambra colognes with 4 out of the 5 of them ranking at 4 or 5 stars (only one 2 star in the bunch), I have to give this one 5 stars too! This really is the closest dupe of the bunch! I wear SAUVAGE, and the extremely expensive SAUVAGE ELIXIR so I thought I'd purchase this just see why this is getting al these good reviews, because at this price point why not. As in scent we are talking 92% closeness (that is really spot on), and it last all day long. and fades still going strong. I always give a double spray since it is not expensive. I will be wearing this to work, switching it up with the original. Overall, surprisingly a real GOOD scent!

There is no subtlety here what-so-ever about Salvo being a Sauvage dupe - down to the near 1:1 bottle design. And one could probably argue it's a bit too on the nose - much like their (Alhambra) Tom Ford dupes with their very near identical bottles. But the business ethics of copy-cat dupes aside this juice hits much closer to the original than some of their other clones and I think most people wouldn't be able to tell the difference between the two as it's probably 90% similar or maybe more. And so if you want to enjoy some of that Sauvage DNA at a fifth of the price -- this is a no brainer grab. It is however, a very, very ubiquitous and popular scent and I find myself not really gravitating to it as a daily frag but I'm glad I picked this up just to have on hand since I do like wearing it from time to time and I could never justify the $120 or so for the designer frag. And as always with most middle eastern budget frag houses -- these really do a lot better when it's given a little air from a few spritzes and a few weeks to sit so it can settle and mature a bit as right out of the gate it's a little harsh without a some maceration.

This is unwearable. Ever smelled a can of roach spray?—same vibe. Literally disgusting. I can’t believe people think this is an acceptable dupe for anything, let alone Dior. The only way this smells anything like Sauvage is if you have never actually owned or worn Sauvage. This crap went directly in the trash. Complete fail.
