smooth,sharp,value for money all this when i try it with conditioner but with regular shaving cream for wet shaving, this is as smooth as gillette blacks blade.

These are my favourite go-to double edge razors. I have tried several different brands and found that these give a nice balanced shave, not too aggressive, not too mild. The blades hold their edge well and give at least 3-4 nice close "2-pass" shaves. You could easily stretch out the longevity if you only have a single pass shave. When you compare these to the price of cartridge shaving systems the price per shave is incredibly good value for money.

Great item, however, very expensive for only 10 razors

Been looking for these for ages for my Dad, who hates these multi blade throwaways and prefers a traditional shaver. He loves them and says he gets a smoother shave from his old shaver. The blades are sharp and easy to use and last longer than a modern multi blade making them a value for money purchase.

You’d be mad to pay £3 for 10 blades when you can get 100 Astra blades for just £10. The 100-pack is perfectly convenient, easy to store, and vastly better value.On top of that, the 10-pack (which comes as two small boxes of 5 blades) is smothered in excessive plastic wrapping. One of the reasons I use old-school safety razor blades is to avoid the plastic waste and energy usage associated with modern commercial razors. So buying the 10-pack defeats part of the point.Yes, one might argue that if you *only* want 10 blades, this does the job but even then, the price and the wasteful packaging make it a bad deal. I suspect the only reason someone would choose this pack is if they’re under the mistaken impression that the 100-pack is bulky or difficult to store. It’s really not. These blades are incredibly compact, no matter the quantity.On the plus side, Astra at least packages their blades in simple cardboard sleeves (5 blades per sleeve), which I appreciate. I’ve tried other brands that use absurd plastic cases for each 5-pack, which is incredibly wasteful so credit to Astra for not doing that.(For the record, I only bought this 10-pack by mistake. Totally my fault—it’s clearly listed—but I’m still annoyed with myself for not paying closer attention.)
