could have damaged my computer. warning
I have a msi gf65 thin 10sdr. Clearly states this is battery for my computer. I am no novice to building and repairing computers. This batter was a similar size but missing the Z shape of OEM battery. The battery in the ad shows the Z shape, but the model number on the battery was the same as advertised, so I believe it could have been update. When installed, battery showed 65% but, when unpluged from charger turned off in about 2 seconds. Used the batter calibration to charge to 100% where the unit then shut off. Would not turn back on. When I unplugged the charger the pc made a loud pop and would not turn on with or without the charger. Replace back with my old battery, conducted diagnostics to ge my computer to work again. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. My computer and contents are to valuable to me to try again

Battery works fine. But be sure your battery is the issue first.
This works fine for what it is. I thought my battery had just lost the ability to hold a charge for long, so I got this replacement. Turns out it's just the build of the laptop. It's too powerful for this small a battery and sure not last long. Not the battery's fault.

Below is my updated review, and below that is my original review which details the troubles I experienced since Day 1.Here is my update 2 months in: The return window closed ~2 weeks ago for me and now the battery does not hold a charge for more than 30 SECONDS. I’m right back to where I started - I can’t use my laptop unless it’s plugged in. I truly feel ROBBED by this company. Whatever you do, do not purchase from this seller.Original review:I followed the charging instructions exactly as the directions say, yet the battery will NOT charge above 79%, no matter how long you let it charge for. The battery life is what you’d expect for a replacement battery - it doesn’t last forever but does the job.While it does work from 0%-79%, I would not recommend buying this since you aren’t getting al the full capacity of the battery.
