Small and really helpfull gadget
This simple gadget is great for soldering of small electronic details, wires as well as when simply working with small detail. The lightening is sufficient and its flexible stand is excellent. The 3 versions of the magnifying glass are used quite often.I recommend this product.

I had to send mine back - here's what I would say if it had functioned correctly
I had to send my example of this back fro a refund (the process is actually quite simple) because it had a defect, namely that the illumination did not function on battery power - an essential feature in my opinion, and one which I need.The device is lightweight, with a copartment for 3 AA cells in the base. The build and finish quality (mouldings, pressings, metal parts) was average. It would have been a useful defice had it worked properly, but once bitten twice shy I returned it and ordered something else.

Needs a lot of fiddling
This is (eventually) a really good piece of kit, let down a little by the screws to tighten the attachments which constantly need re-tightening, would recommend a sort of groove down the uprights where the screws might hold more solidly but overall it's very useful, nice magnifying glass and I like the fold in/out small magnifying lenses, light is also very good. Soldering iron holder is a little redundant as it really needs a sponge holder so I've removed that but once you've got everything fixed how you want it is a really handy thing for any kind of close-up work

Makes fiddly tasks a while lot easier
With the clamps to provide extra hands and magnifying options. As well as a light if needed.This set up is great for fiddly crafting.Certainly helped me with some fiddly crafting.

Not a UK plug!
I paid extra for one one day delivery so I assumed it was a UK product with a UK plug. It arrived and is an EU plug so now I have to go and buy batteries or an adaptor and cannot use it until I do so. Quality isn't great either don't waste your time or money.

screws don't hold when tightened, had to some string and tape, extra small manifying glass just makes things blurry
