SilverlineMini Wire Brush Set 3pce 175mm (617623)

I got these for cleaning my bike. I like that you get 3 different material bristles. I use the steel ones on my bike chain if it gets any surface rust, which allows me to get it in check before it gets worse, as standard cleaning will not remove it. Then you plastic if you want to get into somewhere small without scratching paint etc, and brass for any less harsh scrubbing. Overall a nice little versatile set.

I used these to clean my brakes, before I painted them, and they was good at getting into small areas, and getting a lot of the dirt off, they could have done with being a bit stiffer to get the really burnt on brake dust off a bit quicker, but with a bit of elbow grease they done the job fine.

Used to get paint about of corner's after using a paint streipper . Did a good job.

I wanted some small wire brushes to help remove some light spots of rust in the engine bay of my car prior to painting. I wasn't sure whether they would do the job when I got them but I can safely say they lived up to their purpose. I could get into the angles of the metal well and apply firm presure without them falling apart. If you need to do heavier duty rubbing or are planning to rub down larger parts, I would recommend getting larger ones. These however are great for the little jobs. Next thing are my brake calipers

None of the 3 brushes are firm enough... Need to make the bristles shorter if you plan on using with force. Decent price at least

Cheap price for a set of three. They seem well made too. I've only used the brass one so far to clean an old hand plane up but it hasn't fallen apart yet and it made light work of scrubbing the rust off the plane so I can't really say anything bad about it.
