Delicious, not chalky or weird consistency. It's thick like a shake but no off putting tastes or textures. Yes, it's expensive but I need the protein and food is no longer anything I can or want to choke down. I'll definitely buy again. Will probably put this on an automatic reorder. Not the best tasting. Chocolate is better than vanilla. For anyone having trouble eating, I highly recommend. Nutrition and ingredients are superior to Ensure.

These are the best complete nutrition drinks I have found. I spent a lot of time searching for a product that was not artificially sweetened, not very sweet, and did not use stevia. Another critical point was that the product be usable through an NGT And by mouth. I was excited to find the simple, organic ingredient list of this drink and it is non-dairy. Finally, the best part: my child will drink them because they are not sickeningly sweet. FYI to those who plan to use these for enteral feeding: these are thicker than many brands, be sure to shake very well and flush tube before and after every feeding.

When I was hospitalized for a couple of weeks they was giving me a dairy protein shake. I told them that I was vegan and they gave me this product. When I was discharged I ordered this when I was recovering at home. It tastes better chilled, before I finished the case they seemed to have a funny taste to them. It served it's purpose,I had abdominal surgery and couldn't keep anything down before the surgery.

Very expensive and no longer needed. Makes me sick drinking the vanilla so don't want the other 2 flavors. Unfortunately you're not able to return these products once delivered even if not opened and in original box. I bought 3 flavors and spent a lot of money for nothing.

Really pricey but worth it. I use a few of these every week, primarily as a meal substitute when I'm out playing golf. Calorie count is nice and high, especially if you combine one carton with 8 ounces of whole milk. I really like the chocolate taste and have had zero issues with digestibility. Highly recommended!

The advantages of this product are its high calorie count for those of us who want to gain weight. The sugar content isn't bad, it does not contain carageenan; a big plus. And it's chocolate. But the flavor is strange. To me, it tastes like uncooked frozen peas, covered in imitation chocolate, with a coating of dust and a liberal drizzle of browned butter. I'm going to try adding cocoa powder. I hope that will help because I'd like to order it again.
