I bought this for my wife because the one she was using was way too loud, to the point where we think it was damaging her hearing with its loud, high-pitched whine! This one is certainly not silent but it's a lot less loud and doesn't have a high pitched whine. My wife said the brush quality and fan and heat settings work very well!

good for health if hair, does take longer because it gets less hot than some others, kinda pricy, quieter than most dryers. good packaging. good quality overall and tangle free cord with velcro for organization.

As a person who loves their blowdryer I decided to give a blow dryer brush a shot. My hair is thick and curly and using this was nice and was able to finish my hair in about 38 minutes timed vs an hour with a regular blow dryer. When using, make sure hair is about 70-80 percent done and use tension when drying so hair is smooth. After using make sure to clean out bristles with a comb pick to extend longevity of dryer. Bonus for me vs other competitors like Revlon , the bristles are synthetic, cruelty free for those that care. Also not super loud like Revlon and even though it looks big its light weight and easy to use. Yeah just buy it now you won't regret it!

INEFFECTIVE: Hardly blows out any air.INEFFICIENT: Takes 40-45 minutes to dry my hair with this as opposed to 20-25 minutes with a regular blow-drier and round brush.DANGEROUS: The top part gets so hot that it WILL burn you!UNCOMFORTABLE: Awkward & hard to hold, plus it is so fat that it gives you hand cramps after a few minutes.FIXED TEMP: Has 3 air speeds, but they are all HOT. There is no temperature control like on most blow driers.Plus it's expensive. No redeeming qualities.

Please spend the extra bit of money and get this one instead. My teenage daughter came home with the cheaper version of this dryer and it would wake my husband up from the high pitch loud sound it emitted so he took it upon himself to go on an all search for the ultimate quietest one for her and he arrived here. This one just sounds like a regular hair dryer and it's just better built. Happy with this purchase and she loves it.

It is less hot them conventional blow dryers, but that is the reason the handle does not get hot.I dry my short hair in about 5 minute and does a great job.
