I found this bar looking for something more nourishing and nutrient dense than the standard protein or meal replacement bar, and as a Registered Dietitian, boy does this thing deliver!Flavor is pretty good, like a soft Scottish shortbread cookie. There's a slight protein and mineral taste in the beginning that your taste buds get used to after a couple bars. This is probably the issue most people have with the flavor, and most people don't bother to try it more than once, which you should ALWAYS do with new foods - some picky eaters need 10+ times before they accept something new.What you can't argue with is the effects: it sits well in the stomach, it's filling and gives a definite energy boost that goes beyond the calories you're getting. This is the worst product I ever tasted and I will never buy this again and I can't return it. Don't waste your money.

This is my 3rd or 4th order of the whole beast and liver king bars. I personally love them both. I have seen increase in my performance in the gym and have been achieving physical goals while using these products. Both products are equipped with the calories and clean protein needed to get through my work and workouts on the daily... and they taste good! To be completely honest, since taking these products, my chest hair growth has been through the roof. Really starting to feel the primal traits come through..lol.

First, my family is on the carnivore diet so I bought these thinking that they would be good for breakfast since I’m not very hungry in the morning. The first ingredient is almond butter and almonds aren’t allowed on carnivore because of the lectins.The initial taste is good, kind of sweet and pleasant, but there’s a strong mineral aftertaste that I never could get used to. Also, once I started eating these I wound up getting really constipated no matter how much water I drank. Once I stopped eating them, my intestines started working again.I’m not saying don’t get them. They may be great for someone else on a different diet. They just didn’t work for me.

They are phenomenal

These are just inedible. I am forever trying to find good Keto protein bars without plant protein or junk in them. I was excited about these bars, but they are just gross. They are small, which is fine, but the flavor is so unpleasant. I use these as meal replacement, so I look forward to enjoying them. These are going in the trash :(

I’ve been training for 20+ years now. I’ve gone through plenty of bars. All are garbage. They all have so much filler, you’re chewing for endless hours on crap that seems like chalk and rubber. Came to a weeklong trip and decided to give these a try since I like their protein powder. I’ve stayed away from powders for years too for similar reasons. It’s a great tasting bar, if you want a desert bar then just go eat garbage somewhere else because your fitness goals at this point aren’t your priority. Needless to say I just ordered my second box of bars. It’s a great supplement when you’re in a pinch and it’s not loaded full of garbage like all the others. Yes it’s pricier than other products on the market, but it’s quality.A Mercedes is more expensive than a Kia right? People waste money on stupid crap and then complain that a quality protein bar is expensive. People hit the dollar menus at Burger King like an orgy but complain a grass fed steak at a restaurant is expensive. From my experience the people that say negative things about a product like this don’t end up looking the part for their opinion to hold any weight.Great product
