These are nice bright lights.
Learn the difference between spotlight and flood light. This bulb is a spotlight, perfectly good for a direct stream of lightWe installed several of the bulbs in our small kitchen. They provide adequate light for the kitchen.

Great for flag illumination!
Finally, bulbs that really light up my flag! Not many low voltage LED's will do that. One on each side and it looks great.

Customer service Took Care of Me
I have purchased several sets of these blubs over the last few years and had been very pleased with the results. Unfortunately this batch was defective. However the the vendor provided me with a full refund and I have since ordered another box to replace the defective box. Overall I love these bulbs as they are far brighter than any others I have used. I would have given a 5 star rating but I need to confirm that the replacement box of bulbs are working properly. But I must say, I am very impressed with the customer service.

Order the 5w bulbs if you are going to use in an enclosed fixture
I bought this set because the exact same set I bought last year already has 2 green lights burned out. They only get used at Christmas time (~1 month of the year) which means the ones I bought last year lasted less than 2 months of use. Very disappointing because the colors are nice and bright.Update: The seller informed me that the 5w lights, not the 7w, should be used if they are in an enclosed fixture. They have sent me a replacement set of lights in the 5w rating. I have re-rated the product based on this. I appreciate the seller contacting me and making good on their product.

Good to know not hallucinating
I thought my eyes were fading, but it was the original 7 yr old bulbs (different manufacturer). These Alide bulbs were the first we bought to replace the original bulbs in our kitchen track lights, which started fading and burning out after 6 years. These Alides installed easily and quickly, and it is great to have the lumens back even if a friend says she never misses our driveway at night b/c the kitchen lighting makes the driveway look like an airport runway. The 2700K temp is important b/c higher produces harsh light. The old bulbs flickered intermittently; hopefully these by Alide won't. If I had it to do over I would have bought a wider beam instead of 38 degrees.

Specs are bogus
I guess, fortunately, I did not get to experience the short lifespan as other reviewers claim. The specs are definitely bogus.I purchased 2700K, and the box I received said 2700K, however these measured at 3000K on what I consider a very accurate meter. My intent was to use these for landscape lighting, so this is way too cool/harsh next to my other 2700K lights which are typically coming in warmer around 2500K.Next, they are not 7W. I measured 6.2W. That's at both 12.0v and 12.6V, so the drive is regulated. Not a huge miss. Finally, based on some back-of-the-envelope photometrics calculations and my own observation, these are not 38 degree. They are closer to 30 degree which is fairly significant. So, these didn't work for me based on the specs. For those who have experienced longevity issues, I've been using Halco 8W bulbs. One Halco bulb costs as much as a whole box of 6 of these, but they legit lasted almost 7 years running dusk-to-dawn.

Several burned out only after a few months of use.
I was getting frustrated by the longevity of some of the bulbs I purchased from ALIDE. Several bulbs (3 of the 6)only lasted a few months. So I reached out to ALIDE. I received a very nice email from them asking several questions. One of those questions was, “Are you using these bulbs in an enclosed housing? If so, the heat generated by the bulb will have an adverse effect on the life of the bulb.” I indicated that yes we are using them in waterproof application in landscape lighting. The rep indicated that the 7Watt bulbs get too hot and recommended that we use the 5watt bulbs and sent me a 6 pack as warranty. I was pleasantly surprised by their response and quickness to deliver new bulbs.

Works for my Boat
I needed to replace my two front halogen docking lights on my boat, these did the trick and are much brighter. I read other reviews that complained some of their LED's did not work, so I ordered the six-pack even though I only needed two. The two I installed work perfectly, I did not test the remaining four. My docking lights are completely enclosed behind water tight lenses on the bow of the boat. I'm not concerned with heat build-up since I'll be lucky to use the lights once or twice a season for less than 15 minutes at a time. Besides, they are replacing halogen bulbs, which generate a lot of heat to begin with.A couple things I really like about the LED lights is how bright and pure they are with much less power consumed. These LED's also measured exactly the same as the halogens I replaced, which they needed to because they are held in with a metal shroud and two springs. I relied on the seller's measurements and it was very accurate, thankfully. My only word of caution is to be aware that they are described as "Non-Dimmable", so if your application requires dimming, these lights are not for you.
