Have not used yet but reading through it. Will have fun things for us to explore once the weather turns nice! Great for nature learning from what read.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this when my oldest was in kindergarten. We used it heavily then for adventuring around outside, making walking sticks, magic wands from nature items and collecting narrow TREASURES. I still love having this book sitting out on my coffee table for my kids to page through. We homeschool too, so it's been through it all.

Smallish book with ephemeral art and some game ideas. If you or your child isn’t outdoory or hasn’t spent much time playing in nature it’s a great start however it has a bunch of stuff that I did as a child who grew up on 40acres like stick shelters, mud faces, and journey sticks which I have fond memories of.

This is an absolutely beautiful book. Not only the content, but the book itself! It has wonderful little sketchings throughout that are just delightful.I would highly recommend it to anyone who has children or works with them. It has so many fun ideas on how to encourage kids to engage with nature and their outdoor environments. The activities are also written in a lesson plan format, so very helpful for teachers. Most of the activities could be modified for yards, parks, or schoolyards.

My principal ordered this book for our school but I liked it so much I ordered one of my own so I can keep it handy. It has fewer activity ideas than some of the other books I ordered, but they are the BEST ideas and worth doing again and again. Very specific, wide age range, and with various categories such as arts, games, etc. My favorite was the journey stick, which wasn't what I expected--not a walking stick at all. Fun stuff I can't want to try with my K-2 classroom!

This earthy book has an amazing feel -I love the material of the cover. I love easy to read and use books that also look beautiful! This is delightful and is exactly what I have been looking for! Not a ton of fluff about WHY but everything about HOW. Perfect! Thank you so much for this simple yet inspiring book! You can use this nearly anywhere. Get those kids outdoors! Lots of ideas that many can actually do! All ages.
