Our toddler has a lot of fun with this puzzle. I would say it is better for 18 months onwards. For younger ages, this puzzle may be a bit too hard. I would suggest a simpler shape puzzle to start off with before introducing this one. The quality is good, and our toddler loves playing with the animals. The puzzle takes a beating and it is still in excellent condition. The wooden pegs help her to grip the shapes more easily!

The media could not be loaded. We have loved this puzzle since my daughter was one. She is now three years old and we continue to love this puzzle when we talk about animals. This puzzle also is great for my nine month old when I am watching him. I still do not like for him to have it alone because I don’t want him to chew on it and get paint or wood in his mouth. I would say this is definitely for a one year and up. This puzzle is very sturdy and very thick pieces. The shapes are awesome and they fit so nicely. It is very stable puzzle and has held up for two years now.

So well made. Knobs make pieces easy to handle. Language, small motor skills, animal identification, and most of all, FUN! Great puzzle.

The media could not be loaded. Bought this last January 2024 for my 1yr old baby. I like that the knobs were big enough for my baby's little hands so it was easy for him to place the puzzles. This puzzle helped my baby to learn different farm animals and their sounds. Worth the money!

The media could not be loaded. This toy is a hit. It’s Alara approved. My favorite part of this toy is the big knobs. They are the perfect size for her hands. It’s helped her with her fine motor skills. I love seeing her progress in real-time. This video is the first time she got one of the pieces back into the hole all the way and she was very proud. You’re getting quality with your money. It’s not going to break with rough hands. I’ve bought other puzzles and they don’t hold up. You end up wasting money buying a bunch of cheap ones. It’s her first puzzle and it is such good quality. It’s not too heavy or too difficult. She’s 15 months and has really starting engaging with puzzles. We watch Miss Rachel and Sesame Street and I sing her the song and point to the animals along with Miss Rachel. It really drives home the point with music and she’s learning even faster since I’ve starting doing this. There are screws in the product and my daughter has messed with them and none of the screws have loosened at all. In my mind I’m aware of the screws and inspect all her toys each day for any signs of weakness. I recommend doing that anyway with every toy. No matter the quality inspect your children’s toys.

This puzzle is of great quality, and I love that it is made of wood. There are so many ways to play with it. I sing Old Macdonald using the pieces, and my child loves it. This puzzle will get some good use for several years!
