Easy fix for a furnace that wouldn't stay on.
Quick and easy replacement for a furnace that wouldn't stay lit. While away on vacation during a cold spell, mid-winter, got a notice by my Google Home Hub that the house temp was low and hadn't been going up in 12 hours. Yikes! Not good. Luckily we were on our way home the next morning so I didn't have to call in emergency service to save me. Ordered this plus an ignitor that night and it was delivered next morning.Replaced this temp sensor in 5 minutes and it solved the problem. Ordered an extra set to have on hand - also, replaced my furnace power switch with a smart switch so I can turn the unit on/off remotely - often a power cycle will get the furnace working again (at least long enough to keep the house warm).

Worked perfectly in my "vintage" Payne furnace
exactly what I needed when the gas wouldn't ignite in my furnace. installed easily after a single youtube video review. my furnace is a standard Payne from about 25 years ago but it still worked and now it does again!

Screw hole position is different.
The original flame sensor the screw hole was on the direct opposite side of the flame sensor. 180 degrees from each other. When installed the sensor is in the middle of the flame. This product, the screw hole is at a slight angle to the flame sensor. Possibly ten or twenty degrees. When installed the sensor is in a different part of the flame. This is not an issue for my furnace as the flame area is quite large. The product functions as intended for my furnace (395CAV).Product also came with a wire adapter that I did not need.
