Spiceology - Really Ranch Salt Free Seasoning - Use On: Ranch Dip, Roasted Veggies or Chicken - 16 oz

There's a lot of reviews here that say this blend is lacking in taste intensity. This is because they are expecting the punch of flavor that MSG gives to products like Hidden Valley Ranch. The first ingredients in Hidden Valley Ranch dry mix are "Maltodextrin, Buttermilk, Salt, Monosodium Glutamate". If people want that punch of flavor, they can buy that junk. The ingredients in this Spiceology product are natural. I use it on all kinds of foods. It adds flavor without the trash other companies put in their products. I've purchased this product several times and will continue to do so.

I admit, I wasn't expecting much, but this is a really good blend. It smells as good as it tastes. Try mixing it with Greek yogurt and a little sour cream and you have a nice salad dressing or sauce. It would also work well as a no salt seasoning blend to sprinkle directly on food. The bottle was bigger than I expected....no complaint there, and the price was very reasonable. I store mine in the container it came in, in the freezer where I am sure it will last indefinitely.

If you are worried about all the junk in commercial ranch dressing this is the mix for you. Just herbs and seasoning, no junk. If u r used to Hidden Valley this may taste different to you. It’s not bad, just different. Spiceology makes wonderful spices, not all this clean. Read the label.

This stuff is great. It makes a really tasty ranch dressing or you can just use it as a spice. I like it on my eggs and use it with some avocado oil on popcorn. Most ranch seasoning mix seems to have a ton of salt. I have gone through two of these in the last six months.

This is awful as a spice mix. Almost no flavor, the lid doesn't pour out very well because of the holes and the size of the flakes so you have to use the wide open part, and the taste, what little you do get, is stale tasting and really uninspired. While this is not able to be returned, I would seriously caution anyone thinking of buying this spice unless you have used it already and it meets your palate. I am not an adventurous person but wanted a nice salt free spice for popcorn and this was terrible.

I often have a bag of steamed vegetables for breakfast or lunch and often add this to it. Really Ranch adds a great flavor and no salt which is great for a health heart failure friendly diet. Besides vegetables, you can add this to so many other things with great results, such as a pasta dish, or to a blend of sour cream with just a little Mayonnaise for a low sodium, healthier Ranch dressing... for this I use chosen foods origional Mayonnaise as it is only 50mg sodium per Tablespoon (and tastes great). If you want it a little thinner, add avocado oil until it is the consistency that you like.I think Really Ranch will continue to be a Pantry staple for me! It's not just good for no/lows sodium, it is good in its own right, and my unrestricted family members enjoy it too! If you are not on a low sodium intake, you can always add salt after to your preference, something you can't do with most off the shelf spice blends... this is not only healthier even for the general population, but hives you more control of the flavors in your recipes.It's good stuff, highly recommend.
