Probably the best smoke alarm
This is very good, it is better than the smoke alarms that I already have. When the battery is low, they always chirp and is very annoying, and this one has a warning before the alarm actually sounds, which is the main reason that made me buy this. It also says the location of the emergency which is not a feature of any smoke alarms that I've seen or have. I very recommend this product, I did not have any similar experiences with the 1-star reviews. It is also very sensitive to smoke.

Beware of old stock
Yes this is an original Nest Protect Gen 2 and works great.However note that CO alarms have a 10 year lifespan, after which they completely stop working. The unit I received in March 2022 had a manufacture date of over 1 year ago, which is why I marked it as 3 stars.
