I picked up the SanDisk 2TB Extreme Portable SSD, and I’m really happy with it. This SSD is super compact, which is perfect for me since I’m always on the go. This thing has a huge amount of storage and it's so much smaller than I thought it would be (which is great)! Also, it comes with a great little usb c female to usb a male adapter which is fantastic! This thing has so much going for it for a pretty decent price. It's super easy to connect to basically any device, and it works brilliantly and fast with all of my storage needs. Definitely recommend.

I have been using a series of these drives for several years now, with no problems at all. They are very portable and compact, considering the amount of data they carry. Even more, they are fast. I hope the technology continues to advance, because it keeps getting more and more cost-effective. I like the design, and the use of standard USB to power the device makes it much easier to use these.

Actually this is a praise for Sandisk's customer service. I had this device for about 6 months and it stopped working. It wouldn't work in any PC I had. I contacted Sandisk and they had me go into Disk Manager where I discovered that Windows had disabled the recognition of the drive (thank you Microsoft--NOT!!!). Of course when we fixed that the data was gone. Fortunately, I had all my critical data backed up with another method. BTW, word of advice from someone who has been burned more than once in my 40 years of messing around with PC's. Backup, backup, backup, and for critical data, use more than one method.

works great, is pretty fast. I love it's small size, easy to transport. Only thing I didn't like is that the included USB cable is so short, it's really annoying I can let the HD sit on the keyboard or on the laptop as I'm backing it up. other than the fact that the HD doesn't come with a hard case I don't have more complaints. I got it for 147 and it's going for cheaper now. I recommend buying 2 so you have more than just 1 backup. You never these days.

Awesome! I’m a composer and needed a separate external hard drive for my scores. This fits the bill perfectly and is a perfectly portable solution. The boot-up is quick, quiet and smooth. At one TB I will be happily saving to this drive for quite a while. I highly recommend it.
