Exactly what I needed
Honestly, these came through when we needed them! We had a lamp that we inadvertently pushed the cord too hard between furniture and the wall, with the switch breaking. The lamp itself was not worth bringing to a lighting store to fix, but I liked it enough to want to save it. We purchased this pack (great price) and watched a YouTube video on how to install. I felt really impressed by myself and how easy it was. Switches worked great. I covered some of the cord ends leading into the switch with black electric tape (as you need to cut away a bit of the old cord to fit in). Overall, EXACTLY what I needed

Excellent product. I address the negative reviews. Read on..
I looked through the 1 star reviews after buying, installing and using several of these switches. I'm not affiliated with Amazon OR the company that sells these. I just hate seeing folks mislead by people who incorrectly install, don't know HOW to install, cause the item to fail by installing it incorrectly or just wanna whine about it being small or the screws being small to hold the wire. Let's take it step by step so maybe this will help some of you.Complaint: The switch IS small.Response: Yes it is. That's the whole point. Make a small switch that is easy to install, works great, and is a good value for the money.Complaint: "The screws are too small and you can't wrap the wire around them"Response: You've obviously been out of the electical industry for a while. The screws are not meant to have the wires wrapped around them. The screws are set into a clamping box that you insert the wire into. The screw then tightens down on the wire. Therefore you can use up to a 1/4" lamp cord to install it on. That doesn't mean a smaller wire won't work. It will because the screw tightens down ONTO the wire just like most good quality electrical outlets and circuit breakers in your electrical panel do. It's a proven system and a good one.Complaint: "I installed the wire into the switch and it blew up/caught fire/burned up".Response: Installing wire will usually require the stripping of insulation. If you incorrectly cut off too much insulation, you leave exposed wires in close proximity to eash other which can cause overheating/shorts/and even fire or total failure of the switch. You should not have exposed wire outside of the wire screw box.Complaint: "I installed the wires and screwed them down but they are so tiny they keep flopping around"Response: There is a strain relief inside the switch that will clamp the wires down holding them in place, if you install it correctly(as it comes from the factory)Complaint: "The switch is hard to click on and off".Response: Yes, it's rugged and built to last many cycles of switching. The main takeaway is this: electricity and electric devices (even lamps) are not something to play around with. If you don't know how to proficiently install something that deals with electricity, please get someone to do it who knows what they're doing. Don't do it incorrectly and then blame a perfectly good product. You could hurt yourself or even cause a fire. Safety first!I hope this helps. BTW, I tried two of these and liked them so well I bought 8 more!!

great product!
I bought these to revive my LED puck lights in my kitchen, as one of the original switches had failed. Easy replacement and have worked fine for over two years.

Good for what it does, BUT ???
Good / somewhat durable, for a cheaply made item, but it won't hold up to a lot of stress & the wire holes are VERY small: I'd guess a 12-gage wire MAY fit, but NO larger & a 14-gauge wire will fit.

Works great.
Works great. Easy to install. I like the button push vs. the round disk you have to turn.

1 out of 2 isn’t bad…
Really like these! But one of them is broken, so I’m ordering another set. Would have loved to not have to do that, but for the price it’s not worth returning. Just know that they both might not work.
