I liked everything about this book. It solidify what our history is about. The coming of a great country. This good should be taught to all school children. They need to learn the truth about this country.

This is a good set of books for someone interested in American history but doesn't want to get bogged down in hundreds of detailed pages you will forget anyway. There is a lot of solid history presented in a very readable manner. Worth a look.

I have never been a very strong reader, but "captivating" is a very correct word to describe this book.I find myself carrying my Kindle to work just to get a couple of minutes of reading on breaks.Easy to understand language.Not padded with large words or phrases that make it hard to understand.

This is an informative read dealing with all aspects of American History. A lot of information in a collection of reads.

I enjoyed the book very much. It covers the colonial period to the first gulf war. However, the Korean and Vietnamese periods are not covered. These omissions seem an significant gap in coverage of US History.
