Wonderful size and works!
I decided to get a water filter but hated that after filling my big glass and the ice cube tray, I would need to refill the pitcher. Then I saw this 30-cup Pur water dispenser. I could see that you could fill the bottom section and add more water in the top so it was ready to purify once you took water out. I filled my 34-oz water glass, an ice cube tray and the water went down about an inch. However, it was quickly refilled from the top reservoir. Now I only need to add water to the top as i have time or need. I was worried about water dripping from the sprout, but it seems tight and put together solidly. I would definitely recommend, but it is tall so I have it sitting on my counter. Measure your refrigerator or leave on the counter. After all that’s what ice cubes are for. Some people mentioned a smell, but I haven’t noticed one. I feel safe drinking the purified water since who knows what goes into tap water. We don’t need more plastic bottles in landfills, beaches, oceans, or laying around on the ground.

Great Filtering system
Have a problem with bad tab water in my place, I purchased the Brita and it did not work well with this chemical water, I don't know if its Chlorine or rust, but I purchased the PUR and the water is clear after going through the filter system, the dispenser flows well, and I love the little green light that tells its time to replace the filter. The one thing I wish, is that the filter could last at least 6 months, that would be ideal, but this filter quality is proven to be great the water looks much better. .

IF YOU DRINK LOTS OF WATER....MUST BUY
Love this product so much I bought one for my friends! I like to fill up my gallon water bottle since I work away from home. The smaller filters would take a while to fill up and I was only filling my bottle halfway or so. I decided to give this one a try, but was hesitant that the size would make the filter go even slower. I was wrong. It does take a few minutes to filter due to the large size of water you would need to fill it with, but tops 5-10mins. I find myself refilling and doing other things around the house for a short time and coming back to filtered water ready. I also like the water flow of the filter. You control how much water you want without having to worry about a mess of pouring water as this filter pushing down. Super easy. Large in size for those who drink plenty of water. Great quality water.

Hot garbage - broke completely after 1 year
I used to have the competing Brita filter of the same style. That one had lasted me a few years before the button on the top for the filter replacement LED broke. That button was poorly designed and I also didn't love how the lid didn't seal the thing at all so carrying it from the sink to fridge was a tedious process and difficult to do without some water splashing out the sides. So after seeing this filter in a friend's fridge, I thought I'd get one to replace my Brita. I liked that it had the replacement reminder LED integrated on the spout handle and it had a larger capacity as well. That's where the good things I have to say end. The lid design is only marginally better than the Brita - carrying it was still a tedious task that always had some water spill out. The longer shape certainly makes this happen more easily b/c the water can shift so much.Fast forward exactly one year and the button started to malfunction: I thought the battery had died because it wouldn't light up. So I held the button down for several seconds—as the manual instructs—to reset the light (this also resets the filter tracking which I didn't like as a solution because now it would be off and basically useless for it's only job for this filter since the filter had a couple months of use already). The light worked for a bit and then stopped again. Same process, same result. Whatever I figured I'd just keep track manually with the stickers they give you. But then not more than a couple weeks later, THE WHOLE SPOUT HANDLE SNAPPED RIGHT OFF! Now the thing is completely useless. Looking at the pieces and how they were connected, I can see how poorly designed it is. Very small hard plastic connection, so of course it broke easily.I ended up going to Walmart and getting the competing ZEROWATER fridge filter this time and after just a few days, I can absolutely recommend it over the Brita and the Pür filters! It comes with a water particulate tester that actually tells you in real time how the filter is performing (at least on the particle metric). Tested my tap water (128PPM) and then tested the filtered water (0PPM). The tester plugs into the spout so it can test the water at any time when you dispense it. So you know for sure when it's time to replace when the PPM gets too high (apparently they recommended replacing at 6PPM). The ZEROWATER also quite a larger capacity despite being similar in size. And finally someone figured out how it design a chamber and lid that prevents the water from splashing out when you carry it!! 👏 I also am pleased to see the spout handle on the ZEROWATER utilizes a two-piece design that looks to me like it'll be more durable.Bottom line: the Pür filter kinda sucks and my unit was a completell lemon! I don't recommend it, but do recommend ZEROWATER over this thing for the reasons stated above. Advice from someone who's now tried all three big players in this product segment.

Excellent pitcher
This is a great pitcher that we use to balance out our water tower usage. It works very well and cranks out delicious, zero-taste clean water. JUST fits into our counter depth fridge.

Must be cleaned every 2 days!
So...... I was initially pleased with my purchase as I was alarmed by my personal consumption of nano and microplastics due to only drinking bottled water. However, after using this for a couple months I have found it to be a royal PITA. Water can go bad in 2-3 days on the counter. I hike a lot and, now, prefer room temperature water. You'll get another day if you put it in your fridge. So, I have to wash it every 2 days! It filters good, the water tastes better and it doesn't smell like chlorine or some other chemical. I just don't like cleaning it every 2 days. The spigot is not easy to remove and it sounds like people don't know they need to replace the o-rings when it leaks. I had just replaced my kitchen faucet for one with a pull down sprayer or I would have gotten the faucet mounted model. They are a lot more efficient and don't require all of the cleaning and disassembly. I will change my faucet and get a faucet mounted one next time.

Great for home
Water has no smell and tastes great. Size is perfect for a family. Doesn’t take too long to filter. Seems like it filters more than most.
