Tough, sharp, and built to work

This machete is no joke—super sharp right out of the box and feels really solid in hand. The weight is well-balanced, making it easy to swing for clearing brush, branches, or even small trees. The grip is comfortable and doesn’t slip, even after extended use. Great tool for yard work, camping, or survival kits. Fiskars nailed it with this one.

Excellent quality and durability.

This is my second one a buy. Still have the first one I bought two year ago, Using it almost every day still working fine. I bought another one in case there is a shortage is supply bc of tariffs etc , cannot live without it, totally recommend it.

Quality Fiskar product.

It's a Fiskar machete and the product delivered exactly what I expected. It would be nicer if they offered a sheath but it does everything I'd ask from a machete.

Fiskars Machete Saw

I’ve been buying Fiskars garden tools for many years, and they are the best. The quality is excellent, and they have a lifetime replacement warranty if something does break. You can’t go wrong with this brand!

As advertise and works well.

Wear gloves long use would def create blisters. But that is true with most hand tools of this type. The grip is a good design (ergonomic)

Adequate, but not sharp enough

Well made, light but sturdy. I wish it had come with a sheath. Not terribly sharp out of the box, I use it to cut back fragomera reeds on my property, and it needs frequent sharpening

Perfect tool for the zombie apocalypse

I told my wife I got this to help chop down the overgrown foliage in the back 40. It does work for that, but in all honesty, I got it because I thought it would make a great weapon for the zombie apocalypse. Given how easily it slices through tree branches though, I have no doubt it can be just as effective—if not more so—in severing the heads of the recently undead from their reanimated corpses. Will I ever find out? Who knows? But if you read in the news about a bored middle-aged man from the suburbs going on a decapitation spree with a machete, you can probably assume I got tired of waiting.

Do you need a large paring knife?

Ooo, it has a string to keep my hand from sliding forward onto the blade—not that I would be in any danger from the blade, since this thing comes with an edge only sharp enough to slice bananas... if you peel them first. The saw teeth on the other edge of the blade are mostly useless, albeit sharp: With the sawteeth down, the handle is not a good fit. (Perhaps that's why they included the Safety String.)Without the sawteeth, which present themselves in an unwelcome fashion with alarming frequency, snagging on skin, clothing and anything else except what you are trying to cut with the dull blade, this would be an excellent machete. Fortunately, my Boy Scout history has equipped me to sharpen knives and axes, and I may grind off the useless sawteeth. I has skillz.
