It seems that electronic products (in our case a counter top micro-wave oven) deteriorate over time. At 20+ years it quit working even tho the control panel was still lighted and responsive but it would not power up. Pulled the plug and after (of course) getting a replacement at a yard sale decided, on a whim, to retry the old unit. Eureka, it worked. We discovered if it was left UN-plugged overnight it would work the next day. After a while we had to unplug after each use, which was a real PITA. These compact switches work great and the m/w is in use after a couple additional years. Also use it on the garage door opener when we are going to be away and the washing machine when we leave - I trust them not. Am using the sw. on a 2nd m/w which "may" extend it's useful life as it has done some odd things the past year.

love this!! i bought it for my grandma who finds it a struggle to constantly unplug and plug her wires. it’s a safe and easy way for my grandma to save electricity

This helps a lot. I have items that I like to unplug because they have no switches on them and this takes over for an unswitched item. Great for the for things like boot heaters and stuff where you don’t wanna keep on unplugging and plugging back in because my switch plates are a little bit shaky in the wall.It’s a reasonably priced item

We use these on our coffee pot and Ninja Foodie in our RV. If both units are turned on at the same time, our breaker trips. These switches turn the units off completely preventing tripped breakers.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Exactly what we needed. Works as described. Good for fountain and outdoor lighting.

These a great for appliances you don’t want to leave plugged in. We use it for our toaster. Light in switch helps show whether it is on or not. Saves having to constantly plug and unplug. Wish I knew about these years ago. Didn’t really need 3, but wanted black with lighted switch. Recommend.

I had a similar plug but decided to get more. This was a good value since I paid as much for these 3 as I did for 1 in a store. I find them really useful to use them as the buffer between energy vampires that use electricity even when they aren't turned on. Flipping this switch is much easier than pulling plugs out of the socket. It's fit everything thing I've tried it on and seems to hold up well so far.
