Missing important parts.
The housing for the two way switch valve was good.The piston had missing o rings that caused more harm that good......

Interesting connections. I like that they allow for different port sizes and a bit of eccentricity to make up for tolerances.

O rings worn out in less then a year
Its only been since MAY 2021 that I received this item, installed it in June 2021 and here we are in Dec Jan 2022 and I am dealing with worn out leaky valve already. O rings inside have already allowed water to leak (lots of water) and this is causing significant issue. So now I am shopping for an O ring kit to rebuild something that is just at 6 months old....WTH.....anyways not very impressed to say the least....not to mention over tightening the slip nut was a costly mistake as the nut is proprietary and to replace it was an additional 20+ bucks...so now with the O rings, I'm into it for over 40 dollars on something that should be lasting much longer then 6 months without leaking....just saying....find a different bypass valve to be sure..save yourself the headache of dealing with this make and brand, find something better if you can

Worked well as a replacement to the original Sta-Ritw valve
Worked well as a replacement to the original Sta-Rite valve. Very nice, fits well. Would definitely recommend to those who need a new one.

Could be more robust.
Works as advertised. Handle are a bit flimsy though. One could easily break the shaft off if not careful.The o-rings must be replaced regularly to keep it moving freely and not leaking.
