Great for helping my injured doggo
I bought this to help to be able to better transport my dog after he tore his CCL and it's been really helpful. Once he got comfortable with it, he waits for me to put it on before he goes up and down stairs and in and out of the car. He seems to find it comfortable and I have to say it's kinda fun to carry him around like a suitcase as he recovers. He's a bit of a chonker at 90 lbs so I got the xl and it works great. I am able to adjust the straps to be a comfortable length for me so I'm not hurting myself as I'm trying to help him. The straps stay the length you set them, so you and your pup won't have any mishaps. I'd definitely recommend having this item onhand if your dog ever has mobility issues

Strong, soft, adjustable...amazing for my 12 year old lab.
My 12 year old lab loves to be out and about and forgets she can't do the things she used to. We went on a short hike that had a few tall stairs to go down and up to get to the waterfall. She had the best day but we would never have been able to get her up the stairs without carrying her. She waits for us to put it under her. We also got her a harness that I'm going to review too! It is as helpful as this. The two together can get my girl anywhere she wants to go!! I never write reviews. I purchased 2 products not knowing the one I would need but we are keeping them both.

Quality, durable for even large breeds
This sling is made well and has a comfortable lining for your pet. My 150 pound old English sheepdog has bone cancer and can’t put weight or pressure on his front leg so this sling saves us from having to put him in an uncomfortable harness. We are able to lift him in and out of car and we used it at the beach to get him in water and it dried perfectly. Thank you for this time w my baby.

Good but......
I bought this sling prior to my dog having cruciate ligament surgery. I'm glad I did. I was happy to have it on hand when I needed it, which was the first time she needed to go outside. With her leash and this sling, I was able to control and assist her. My only problem with the sling is the length of the straps. Even with them adjusted to their shortest length, I found I needed them shorter. I wound up extending the straps upward and then twisting them together a couple of times. It made the strap shorter and more comfortable for me. It would be nice if the straps were fully adjustable. Other than the strap length, this is a great product in aiding with my pet's recovery

Great Support for Our Senior Dog
We’re using this harness for our senior dog who has weak back legs, and it’s been a huge help. It’s soft, sturdy, and makes it much easier to help her up the stairs and in and out of the car. It’s easy to carry and even comes with a storage bag. Highly recommend for older or recovering dogs!

Well made and effective
Exactly what I needed after my dog's knee surgery to support him. Well made and soft. Handle was a good length so I didn't need to bend over to hold it up. Significantly cheaper than what the vet wanted to charge me for one that was worse quality. The biggest challenge was trying to avoid him peeing on it while going to the bathroom, so a little thinner would've been nice.

Dual purpose
I bought for dual use. We have a work van with no way for an armrest on the passenger side. So we are using this sort of as a sling armrest. It does not slip, is easily adjustable and comfy. Second reason is for our Shepherd. We have big dogs and she isnt old yet, but is having eye issues and we have a lot of stairs. Wished we had this with our previous dogs. We will use this for her in the future.

Used this for 4 months & here are the pros & cons.
My dog is around 10 lbs so I ordered a small. Her back legs don't work too well and she loses her balance when she goes potty and needs my help.Pros:It's well made as far as quality goes and I love that it's soft on my dog's belly. I'm able to hold my dog up when she goes potty and this thing holds its shape so it doesn't roll down as it would if you were using something like a scarf.Cons:Personally, the design leaves a lot to be desired. First, it's too wide from the front to back legs for a small dog. It needs an inch or two removed. It wedges itself against her back hips and causes her to go limp or fall. I learned to hold the sling up and forward so it's closer to her front legs, but it takes a lot of work. When my dog, like many dogs, walks around in circles to find the right place to go I have to walk right next to her and I have to hunch over a bit to keep up the strap forward AND straight up. If I don't, she will either fall over or she'll get her back feet over the strap. With the straps being the length that they are I have to be so close to her that I can't make any missteps to prevent her from falling or escaping. Also, I'm 5ft tall and the straps are barely long enough. It is way too short for my husband who is 6ft tall.My biggest gripe with this sling is that there no velcro to hold it in place. this means you have to hold the straps up firmly in the right position so your dog doesn't fall or get out of it. I'm hunched over walking in circles and holding it up and forward, but my girl can pull a fast one on me and turn quickly so if I'm not on it she can easily slide out of the sling. For a small dog, she has long legs so I think a short legged dog would have no problem getting out of it.If she manages to get her feet over the sling it's a struggle to get it back under her because she's trying to find a place to go but I'm stopping her, so even before I get it fully under her she moves and gets her foot caught in the strap which is a loop. I do like that the straps go across the front as well as the back for more support though. Basically it gives me a bit more control when helping my dog to balance herself as she needs more support on the back end. But, it needs a tube to go over the loops to prevent their legs from getting caught in them if they get out of the sling while on a pursuit of a poop spot.Btw, I did add velcro to this and it made a world of difference. Straps still need to be a bit longer though.
