Mark Richard Ebony/Burl/Zebra Wood/Maple/Ash 57" 60" Handmade 3/4 Piece SNOOKER CUE - Aluminum/Leatherette CASE - EXTENSION - Mini Butt

I purchased the Ebony cue on Tuesday 23/02/17 and it arrived on Friday 03/02/17, one day before the estimated delivery date which is excellent. The cue itself looks amazing, definitely worth the money. The cue it straight as an arrow and moves through the bridge-hand so smoothly. The cue tip which came with it wasn't great but I had planned to replace it anyway so it didn't bother me too much. Regarding the installation of the new tip, ensure that you know what you're doing as it is a lot trickier than it looks! I did manage to replace it and shape it how I wanted (in the end).The case is quite... well.. eye catching to say the least. You won't get lost in a crowd whilst holding in. It feels sturdy and the inside has a partition for the 3/4 shaft on one side and the 1/4 butt and two extenders on the other. It would've been nice if there was a section for chalk but nothing some cardboard and duct tape couldn't fix.My only negative with the cue was that it feels like there is too much of the finishing coat in places. I'd imagine it was were the cue was lying down as a finisher was applied. Not the end of the world but just means that there are a few spots with a slight bump.

Beautiful cue. Very well made, smooth and well balanced. Worth every penny. Extensions have a real quality feel to them too. Highly recommended.The case though - whoever thought of that design must have been blind! Wow! Shocking! I'll have to find a way of re-covering the case or stripping the cover or something before someone sees it!The quality of the case is fine however. It could've done with a section for chalk but that's no biggie.. I'm just knocking a star off for the design.

ABSOLUTE BARGAIN.. separately the case retails for £30 (Amazon), The mini butt & extender £25 (Ebay) which means you're getting a hand made ebony, maple and ash cue for £14..!! CASE : apart from looking like you're carrying around your own personal zebra crossing the case is solid and well built. The catches (3) are a little flimsy but adequate, same as the carry handle. The case interior is well finished with space for the cue, accessories, chalk and tip shaper. ACCESSORIES: The mini butt is made of composite high density plastic and the extender is made of aluminium.. both pieces have a quality feel..!! The best bit CUE: I must have been lucky as the cue I received was perfectly straight, finish excellent and feel is spot on. It screws together perfectly with no ridges or high spots. The matt finish makes the cue super slippy especially through the bridge. A wipe between frames and you're ready to go again. At 9.2mm the tip is a good compromise between snooker (half mm too small) and English pool (half mm too big).. tip size is an individual thing but even the stock tip (After a good shaping) gives good control in both games. A switch to an Elkmaster Pro tip can only improve what is already an excellent package. I might never become a quality player but with one of these at least I feel like I just might make it..!! EXCELLENT PRODUCT for the money.. Highly recommended.

Fantastic value and a great cue.To start with I did I have an issue with the colour of the cue and a small chip that seems to of been covered up with wood dust and a bit of glue.I uploaded the pictures I sent to the seller, the second one showing what the product picture was compared to my actual cue I got.I did end up getting £15 off the cue for the coloured highlights being planed down too far and the small little chip.So other than the small issues above, its a great case, great cue and all round amazing value for money.The case is well padded and protects the cue perfectly, it also fits in a few extras i bought like glue, chalk, cleaning cloth and sand paper just fine.The mini butt, a telescopic extension are great and the cue itself is lovely. Very straight grain, weight is good an all round great cue.If youre looking for a cue give this a serious look because for the money I really dont see you getting much better.

For one minute I don't think this cue has an original price of £499, for a start the extensions are push and pull although over time they will wear I would mush prefer it if the fit of the extensions was of a screw in type, that's why I don't think the cue would ever sell at £499.The cue in itself is well built and straight, even though I did feel a few minor imperfections when playing with it.At first I found the cue slightly on the heavy side but quickly got used to the weight.I would have given this 5 stars but the extensions are push and pull to fit the cue there are cues of a similar price that have the more popular screw fitting extensions as I believe if this cue was actually ever sold for £499 it would have had.

Haven't used much yet, but appears OK for the price considering you get a case and attachments. However, the reason for writing a 3* review so soon is due to the false product claim. The main product bullets state quite prominently "HANDCRAFT UK SNOOKER CUE". However, this is not a UK made cue (and I'm not convinced there even is a Mark Richard). The box this is delivered in has six words on it - MADE IN CHINA MADE IN CHINA. Just be aware of what you're getting.

Was great value for money .Made from crap wood but that being said if u went and bought a proper cue and got the guy to change the connections for the 1 on this cue so the butt extension would fit , u got 2 extension and a case so your still up

The extension is very poor the inside tube came straight out leaving the plug inside the large tube, unable to get the plug out of the large tube, this has had minimal use so should not happen.otherwise the cue is very good value and plays well despite the problem with the extension i would recommend this
