Karbay Carburetor for Onan Cummins A041D736, Microquiet 4000-Watt 4KYFA26100 4KYFA26100P 4KYFA26100K With Gaskets

Bought this for Onan 4000 ky-fa 26100H. First one defective, poured gas out of carb throat. Installed Airtex fuel pump at same time, Airtex makes the Onan labeled factory fuel pumps. This carb obviously not as well made as factory unit. I’m not sure that the Karbay unit is any better than the $35-40 dollar units. I bought this one because of Prime and the reviews. The second replacement unit worked better than the first, but in order to get it to smooth out, had to force the limiter cap off the mixture screw and turn it at least 2 rounds counter clockwise and it smoothed out fine. Let run for 3hrs with no issues, after adjustment was correct, snapped limiter screw cap back in place and running fine for 6-7 hrs. Feel like it will be ok and ready for the road. It’s like any other China made product, very hit or miss. Good thing with Prime is speed and no hassle returns. Bad part about this is I had to remove and reinstall twice. Had I not recognized improper mixture setting and been able to adjust, I would have sent 2nd unit back as well. Bottom line is it’s working for double my labor, but better than half price of factory replacement unit ...

I only purchased this carburetor because I didn’t feel like cleaning the original that was having trouble running. First they didn’t include the gaskets so I had to make my own. That was frustrating but no big deal I thought. I installed this new carb and I couldn’t get my generator to run at all and it leaked gasoline out of the bottom. I decided to just clean my old carburetor and try putting it back in and my generator suddenly worked again. What upsets me the most about this junk carburetor is that I waited a couple days past the return deadline to find out it is nothing but trash. Thanks for ripping me off Karbay!

I installed per the instructions, even installed a new factory fuel filter and flushed the fuel line. Started the generator and it ran (barely) and then stalled. Attempted to start again but would not start. The generator was due for a 500 hour service so I decided to take the motorhome to an authorized Onan shop and they found the carburetor to be defective. Ended up having to install a factory replacement carburetor. Should have done that in the first place.

Looks great! Everything as listed. We are in the process of replacing the old one but it looks like it’s going to fit nicely.UPDATE: Replaced and generator was worse off then before, turns out this replacement part was defective. We had a certified technician remove it and return it for replacement. He did the reinstall and return with the company directly. Sad to say this happened but at least we were able to figure out the problem and get fixed. It did cost us extra as we had to hire a professional....Oh well, we are good to go now.

Onan Microquiet 4K on my 2015 Thor Freedom Elite RV would start, sputter and die sometime between 5 and 25 minutes later. Going thru just about every forum on the interwebs, I started from easy to the most difficult. The carburetor is a perfect fit and fairly easy to replace, but come to find out, that wasn't my problem. It was the fuel pump. If you're having similar issues, you may want to consider starting with that first.

Exact Fit. Works perfectly. Generator runs better than it has in years. I'd give it 6 stars if I could.

Installed the Karbay carburetor and generator continued to run rough. Found there was gas leaking from the top of the bowl and then the metal fuel line popped out of the carburetor squirting gas everywhere. I cleaned the old original carburetor and put it back in and generator runs great again.
