I bought this TSA approved suitcase lock for my travels. Locking my luggage gives me some degree of added security. Great item worked as one would expect easy to set own combination.

Setting code was easy, was bought to help secure an exterior power box where a traditional padlock of any size would not fit, I don’t think it is as secure as a padlock but hopefully will help do the trick

I got this lock specifically to put on a backpack. I spent a fair amount on the backpack for travelling and was a bit disappointed that the zipper pulls are not ideal for making lockable with a padlock. I had hoped this lock would be the solution. Whilst it is technically possible to put the lock through the zipper pull holes, the loop only just about managed to be squeezed through the hole. It fits, but takes more effort and manoeuvring that I had hoped for. It did the job, and the backpack is not ideal for taking a padlock, and I know the loop bit needs to be thick enough to not be able to be snapped, but this didn't work out quite how I hoped for me. That is not to say this is not a good product. Used once and did the job.
