A Savage Victory Over the Tyranny of the Lost Remote
Dateline: A Living Room Couch, a Zone of Perpetual Frustration. It is the great, unsolved mystery of modern domestic life. The Bermuda Triangle of the coffee table. The black hole that resides somewhere deep within the sofa cushions. I am talking, of course, about the remote control. A slim plastic wand of pure, unadulterated power that possesses a supernatural ability to vanish the exact moment you need it most. You’ve been there. Patting the cushions like a frantic paramedic, peering under furniture, questioning your loved ones with the hot-lamp intensity of a seasoned interrogator. It is a recurring madness, a maddening ritual that chips away at your soul. For years, we have accepted this as our fate. But no more. Now, there is a new weapon in the arsenal. A solution so simple, so elegant, it’s almost insulting. The Magnetic Remote Control Holder. They arrive in a small, unassuming packet—a set of four. This is your toolkit for restoring order. Each one consists of two small, plastic squares backed with a peel-and-stick adhesive, with a powerful magnet embedded in each. The concept is one of beautiful, brutal simplicity. You stick one square to the back of your remote, the other to a convenient, fixed location—the side of the television, the wall next to your favorite chair, the edge of the nightstand. The installation requires no drills, no tools, no sweat. It’s the work of a moment. A peel, a press, a brief application of pressure. You have now created a designated home, a magnetic docking station, for your wayward device. And the first time you use it… my friends, it is a revelation. You finish your viewing, and instead of just tossing the remote into the void, you bring it close to its new home. There is a satisfying, almost sentient thwack as the magnets grab hold of each other. The remote leaps from your hand and snaps into place, held fast by an unseen force. It hangs there, suspended, waiting patiently for your next command. It cannot get lost. It cannot slip between the cushions. It has been tamed. This is not a mere organizational tool. This is a profound psychological victory. It’s a tiny, inexpensive, and absurdly effective solution to a problem that has plagued humanity since the dawn of the Zenith Space Command. You get a four-pack, enough to pacify the television remote, the air conditioner remote, the soundbar remote, every last little tyrant that has ever played hide-and-seek with your sanity. It’s a masterstroke of minimalist design. A quiet, invisible hand that imposes order on chaos. For a few paltry dollars, you can buy back hours of your life that would have otherwise been spent in a frantic, pointless search. You can reclaim your living room from the clutches of entropy. And that, in these strange and cluttered times, is a victory of the highest order.

Works as advertised. Not great for remotes with funky shapes (see details)
Works as advertised. Good adhesion and easy to stick. Magnets are strong and will pull the remote into place if you don’t get it lined up perfectly The different colors are helpful to identify the functions of multiple remotes. We have a green one to control the power and volume of our green projector and a pink one for the Roku because black and white arent as exciting. Would be good for vacation rentals that need multiple remotes to control power, sound, and tv commands. Not the best with Roku remote because of the dip in the back of the design for allowing a flat surface for adhesion; however if you get creative you can make it happen. Might be hard to install on remotes with funky shapes.Easy to remove and restick if you need to line it up a little straighter but once it’s been in there for a day it sticks really nice.

Handy must have
Purchased these as I just bought (2) new remote ceiling fans but unlike others these did not come with a holder for the remote. These worked perfect and unlike the holders they take less room as it is just the space for the remote. Easy to install, and are pretty sturdy. The adhesive was perfect and I had to reapply one of them and it did not remove my paint and still stuck on the replacement spot. I used the other (2) to attach the tv remotes to the tv to avoid misplacing the remotes. Works great on the curved part of the remote as well. The magnet is pretty strong so they don’t just fall off. I will definitely purchase a few more.

Magnet needs to be stronger for my use
I wish the magnet was a little bit stronger. I love the design though.I’m using it to hold my remote for the LG StandbyMe Tv. The remote is more bottom heavy than the top, so I need to flip it upside down to help the magnet stay. Even then, if it gets slightly touched, it falls.

Sadly not strong enough
I wanted this product to work so bad because it is such a cool idea, but sadly it disappointed me. I bought this to be able to put my controller up out of my puppies reach so he wouldn’t chew it up. I tried just one set of the magnets and it fell off a day later. So I decided to try it again and use two sets of magnets this time. It fell off within a day again! So now I’ve wasted most of my magnets and I have a controller with puppy chew marks on it now!

Well, doesn’t work for texture wall
Doesn’t stick well on orange peel walls, mine kept falling off. If your wall is textured, don’t buy this for adhesive use.But the magnet works great, so I just attached it to a metal shelf. Works fine that way!
