We got several of these zhuzhu sets for our fish obsessed twins and they love them. I saw the blue tang and was deeply intrigued by it and the submarine so we gave it a go. It can be a little tricky to line things up right but when it works it's super cute. The boys love it so that's all that really matters.

My son got the Zhu Zhu aquarium for his birthday and he loves this little fish with its submarine to go with the set.

Cute fish toy that moves around randomly in different directions. You need to first install batteries (2 AAA batteries) inside the body of the fish. Then press a button on the back and it will move around for a few seconds. I wish it moved longer before having to press the button again. There's also a button on the nose and head and they make sound effects for the fish. It comes with the submarine and a little tube you can send the fish through. To work the submarine, the wheels on the fish have to line up in the holes in the submarine. This works about 60% of the time with the one we have. Regardless, the fish is still cute to watch it go around the floor. Our dog is afraid of it. It works on hard floor an very very very low pile carpet, but anything thicker will hold the fish back from moving.I sort of want more of the parts to make a larger track for it.

Super cute little toy! We have collected all of these little sea friends over the last year for our four year old and they have all held up extremely well. They don’t go through batteries quickly and offer hours of fun. The entire family enjoys setting up the habitats and watching them interact!

I was redoing a room at our daycare with an underwater theme and I couldn't resist getting these zhuzhu fish to put in it. My older kids had the original zhuzhu hamster pets growing up and loved them, so I figured other kids might really enjoy these fish. These little guys zoom around and move in unpredictable patterns. They have a soft cloth on their exterior and a hard base inside. They work best in the aquarium track (that's sold separately), but can run on hard surfaces like wood, tile, and laminate floors. They also work (though not quite as well) on very Low pile carpeting/rugs, but anything else hinders movement. This specific one comes with its own little submarine which doesn't make a whole lot of sense but is a fun concept. I mean why would a fish need a sub since it already swims and lives underwater? How would it even build or operate it? The sub isn't a logical choice but does fit with an underwater theme and the kids still like it. If you are not using the aquarium track though, it's nearly impossible to get the fish to just zoom into the sub on its own. You can place it on there though.
