Well presented and a little case

Excellent product, the hair does not grow back for 3/4 weeks instead of shaving every other day. No prickly legs. No discomfort. Only negative the plug does not come with an adaptor

I’ve had a 7 for a really really really long time (i think i got one when they were first released - the version with the glittery body and dial instead of button) - so it looks almost identical to this version of the 9.Fundamentally, they do the exact same job. However I’d been struggling to catch the fine hairs on my upper legs and lower legs (where I’ve been epilating for so many years, the hair sometimes comes back quite fine). Tried out the 9 today and it’s picked up everything the 7 left!I’m super happy that it’s actually has worked for its intended purpose! So many products don’t these days.Pain-wise, pretty standard for an epilator. Maybe a little less painful today. That could be where I am my cycle though?? I also don’t really notice the pain anymore so it’s hard to tell. It’s hair removal… it’s a process not a pleasure!!Seems noisier than the 7, more mechanical sounding, if that makes any sense? Maybe it’s because the head is wider, slightly different tweezer pattern?I’ve got all the attachments but suspect I’ll end up using the main head it comes with 99% of the time. (Update to follow if I remember!)I debated for a long time which one to get next and umm-ed and ahh-ed about the flex or standard, but I’m pretty happy with the standard. I prefer to have more control in the er… sensitive… areas!!Worth noting that both the 7 and the 9 have identical number of tweezers, 40 of them. They’re just a bit more spaced out on the 9. I don’t know what kind of magic this is, but it seems to have done a better job.If pushed I’d happily get another 7, nothing really wrong with it if you can get it at a good price and you have coarser hair. I’m also very happy with the upgrade to the 9 for MY hair type (generally fine and fair)

Excellent epilator

Very good !

Bought this to replace a very old braun epilator. I hadn't realised until I started using this one how worn the tongs were on my old one. This one catches every strand with the light to help illuminate any areas missed. So quick and easy to use and brilliant that the heads can easily be swapped for shaving and massage - can't comment on how's these perform as I haven't used them yet.

Ich hatte schon früher einen Epilierer und war durch diese Erfahrung sehr negativ dieser Haarentfernungsmethode gegenüber eingestellt. Da dies aber schon locker 10 Jahre her ist und meine Freundinnen wie auch die Medien mich langsam aber sicher überzeugt haben, es nochmal auszuprobieren, habe ich mich für den Braun Silk Epil 9 entschieden.Hauptgrund dafür war, dass er auch unter der Dusche oder in der Badewanne angewendet werden kann. Denn wie gesagt, mein früherer Epilierer war ungemein schmerzhaft und unangenehm, das wollte ich mir nicht mehr antun.Also hier zu einem sehr guten Preis bestellt und nach Erhalt sofort ausprobiert.Schon beim Auspacken stellt man fest, dass sich Braun beim Design sehr bemüht hat. Es ist gar keine Schande mehr, es offen im Bad zu platzieren, sieht sehr schön und wertig aus. Ebenso ist viel Equipment dabei, die man sich in der Artikelbeschreibung gerne näher anschauen kann, ich lege euch auf jeden Fall die Peelingaufsätze sehr ans Herz! Der Epilierer ist Akkubetrieben, was ich schon aus Nachhaltigkeitsgedanken sehr schön finde und hat neben den Aufsätzen ein Ladegerät und eine Aufbewahrungstasche dabei.Bei der ersten Anwendung habe ich noch nicht zu 100% an die Wasserdichtigkeit des Gerätes geglaubt, daher habe ich ihn "nur" in der Duschpause auf nasser Haut angewendet und auch dort war ich schon überrascht, dass es kaum wehtat! Da es an den Beinen so gut lief, dachte ich mir, nehme ich die Achseln gleich mit. Massage-Aufsatz angebracht, dann ist der Epilierkopf nämlich sogar schwenkbar, und aufgehts. Das hat natürlich etwas mehr geziept als an den Beinen, aber das Ergebnis war dafür wirklich toll. Ich muss mich normalerweise täglich rasieren und jetzt nach nur einmal epilieren hatte ich schonmal 5 Tage Ruhe. Nachlegen musste ich auch nur weil die Haare natürlich unterschiedlich lang/kurz waren und daher manche noch nicht greifbar für die Pinzetten waren, ausserdem haben Haare verschiedene Ruhephasen, was bedeutet, anfangs wird man noch öfters zum Epilierer greifen müssen, aber dann werden die Abstände immer länger. Der Schmerz war bei Runde 2 auch schon erheblich weniger, eigentlich fast nicht mehr vorhanden. Möglich dass sich die Haut wirklich schnell daran gewöhnt oder dass es damit zu tun hat, dass ich diesmal unter fließend Wasser epiliert habe.Auch ans Herz legen möchte ich euch die Peelingaufsätze (blau und lila), da ich sie selbst anfangs für unnötig befunden habe, aber Gott sei Dank dann doch noch ausprobiert habe (wenn man sie denn schon Mal hat ;) ). Vor allem meine Beine sind immer sehr trocken und durch jahrelanges Rasieren habe ich knieaufwärts immer unter eingewachsenen Haaren und Rasierpickelchen gelitten, welche sehr unschön anzusehen sind. Nun benutze ich fast täglich die sensitive lila Bürste unter der Dusche mit Verwendung von Duschgel und am Abend vor dem Epilieren den blauen, stärkeren Aufsatz.Bringt echt eine ganze Menge! Meine Beine sind schon nach kurzer Zeit sehr viel glatter und schöner geworden. Also alles was Frau so möchte ;) ;)Den grünen Massage-Aufsatz habe ich zugegebenermaßen bisher nicht ausprobiert, genauso wenig wie den Rasier- und Trimmaufsatz, falls sich dazu noch etwas ergibt, werde ich den Bericht natürlich aktualisieren.Ich bin auf jeden Fall sehr von dem Gerät überzeugt und kann es vorbehaltslos weiterempfehlen, vor allem da sich der Preis auch nach einiger Zeit lohnt, da man sich die teuren Rasierklingen spart!
