What a fantastic price for 2! They work for picking up small gravel in my succulent planter designs. Unfortunately the edges of the sides are very sharp and haven't been polished or sanded down to a more dull edge. So I wouldn't recommend running your fingers along the sides. I ended up wrapping it up with some rope so I do not hurt my hand. I could wear gloves, but I rather not have to wear gloves. They grip well in picking up small odd shape gravel. I like the length of these because my succulent potted plants are a variety of different kinds and I do not want to crush any by using my hand to go down and grab some gravel with fingers.

I use these so i dont have to touch the critters i feed my critters lol, they’re good quality and ive never had anything escape these things!! Good grip.
