Dry and hard
This cork is much dryer, harder and stiffer (not supple) like new Felpro valve cover gaskets if you know what I mean. It worked for what I needed it for but its borderline crumbly once cut and worked.

Good material for making engine gaskets.
Great material for making gaskets. I used waterjet to cut what I needed. Like factory cut gaskets for stuff you can't get gaskets for any more.

This is good cork multiple uses ..gaskets , weather proof .. easy to cut an plenty in this for many gaskets.. use all the time on rebuild an leaky seems.

Worked great cuts easily and seals well.
At first it's hard to get it to stay un rolled from how it's packaged but after a day of laying it flat and putting weight on it to straighten it. It's easy to cut and sealed well even in the thinner part of the gasket. I used it for 1939 GMC 6 cylinder valve cover.
