This book refers to the work of Dr. Pelz. I appreciated the candid overview of the hormones that influence women’s bodies and how they change and affect your well-being during menopause. I wish I had read this book earlier, as I did not realize how big a role stress in the balance of hormones.The book provides hands-on suggestions as to how to improve the hormone imbalance with the ketogenic diet, detox and intermittent fasting.The only part I found a little disappointing was that for a workbook, I found the book quite text heavy. I was expecting questions with open lines and labeled tables and boxes to write into.

It is reassuring to know that there are ways to manage these symptoms through lifestyle changes.
