This cleanser is one of my favorites

Great value and works well.

There's not much to this, just .5 salicylic acid which is rather common with other acne medication. My daughter has been using and it started to dry her face out in a few days. She normally has very oily skin but it dried it out so much that her skin started to flake off around her eyebrows.

Works great on my skin, not super drying and helps my skin look its best.

I get occasional breakouts and have highly sensitive combination/oily skin. This cleanser didn’t cause me any averse reactions or irritation. Unlike some other acne control cleansers, this one feels gentle and non-stripping. My skin was clean, hydrated, and refreshed after use.While the gel does seem to take a bit longer to wash off than some other cleansers, it is effective and a very nice quality. I wipe my face several times with a clean wet face towel (after rinsing off the gel cleanser) to ensure it’s totally gone - and it also helps gently exfoliate the skin.It has a light and pleasant smell that’s non-irritating. Overall, this cleanser feels soothing to use.I generally like to use salicylic acid products during breakouts, and gravitated to this cleanser as it contained this ingredient while still offering hydration. My skin felt very soft, and wasn’t tight or dry after I cleansed.The bottle is made of sturdy and high quality materials as well - not flimsy, cheap plastic.

I got this for my son, but I always try the products I want to review as well. I have dry skin and do not find that this leaves my skin feeling tight or dry. I have continued with my regular hydration routine and don't find that I need anything extra. My son prefers cleansers that lather well, and he is happy with this one. His skin tends to be more oily than mine. This does work well for his skin, but in two weeks or so hasn't been enough to keep his face completely clear, just mostly clear. Keep in mind, though, that salicylic acid doesn't clear all causes of acne. This is much like any other salicylic acid product in effectiveness, but I recommend it because it doesn't seem to dry the skin. It is a bit more expensive than other non-drying salicylic acid face washes that we have used in the past, but it is otherwise quite nice.

It seems to be working very well for me, I don't have as many breakouts as I do usually during the time of the month, it lathers very well and little goes a long way.P.S . Mind your eyes because it stings the eyes no jokes. I believe it's because of the salicylic acid in it. Lol

I ordered this product for my daughter who is big into skincare. She's been using it for a few weeks now and said that it's good, but nothing about it stands out. It cleanses her skin but always has to be followed up with a moisturizer so it doesn't dry her out.She hasn't noticed a difference in her acne since using this but feels it does a suitable job as a cleanser. It's sort of a "middle of the road" kind of product. And it's honestly quite pricey for being something that doesn't stand out to her. She'll continue using it but it's not going to continue being a part of her skincare routine.
