IF ONLY..........
IF ONLY.......Really impressed with the build quality, the style and definitely the performance.Sitting in the middle of the back wall of my 5ftx2x2 tank with a Hygger wave maker and the water is kept within 1 degree constantly. The display is simple and easy to use.looks awesome when you have a modern tank and this digital display except....IF ONLY the damn cable from the handset to the heater unit was longer. then the display could sit somewhere useful instead of halfway back in a shelf under the tank only visible by bending down to view after hooking it off and pulling forward a bit.It even comes with a self adhesive holster for the display that is a perfect fit....but I cant put it where I want it.Simple enough to extend the cable myself but...what about the warranty???you almost had it Hygger. 5 stars if this was put right (wave maker review has 5 stars)

Absolutely perfect.
Got this for an Axolotl tank as the temperature in the room gets seriously cold. The unit goes down to 15 degrees and therefore cool enough to keep the tank temperature above the potential 9 degrees in the room during winter.

Unreliable temperature
I usually love the Hygger thermometers as they're the only brand that don't risk overheating and causing a fire when out of the water. But ... as I find the light display on my marine tank thermometer too bright as it illuminates the tank at night, I bought this one with the external display.Really disappointed that there is a massive temperature swing that deviates from the set temperature.I set the temp to 25 degrees, but the heater sat idle at 24.2-24.5, so I raised it to 25.5 degrees hoping to get the temp to 25 but it's still low and not heating up. Sometimes it'll heat to 25.3 so it swings either too high or too low and with my reef tank I need stability so I'm buying a different thermometer. Also the display is far too bright, first time I used it I hung it up, came back after dark to find it flashing (bars flashing while it's heating) which lit up the whole room so my poor fish had a flashing light instead of darkness. It's so intrusive I have it upside down on a shelf, which defeats the point of ease of use.

Great heater
I love this heater as it has automatic power off when the tank temperature goes above set temperature, highly recommended

Peace of mind for tank owners
In the quiet corner of my living room, the tank sits, and within it, the comfort of my aquatic friends is paramount. Managing their environment has become less worrisome. There's peace of mind in knowing that a piece of technology can alert you, stepping back when it should, safeguarding the small ecosystem. It does its task quietly, efficiently, without disturbing the serene underwater world.

Nice Heater
Seems to work well straight out of the box. A lot bigger than expected, especially if you used to the test tube type heaters, that said I managed to hide it easily behind plants.
