This really was easy to replace having part watched a youtube vid. My old battery rarely lasted an hour at best and the phone would shutdown randomly as well. I didn't want to buy a new phone (I really like the Z5) and had an extortionate £75 quote to "repair" it - that was with shopping around. This really was a perfect solution. A battery test from the hidden system menu shows it is now good - and I'm back to over a full days worth of usage between charges, just like new! I was dubious at first due to the packaging, but it seems 100% legit. At this price, I would gladly replace it again in a years time if need be.Oh, and don't forget to get a back cover sticker to seal it back up.

Managed to replace battery in 10 minutes after package arrived, had to reset my mobile to manufacturers settings after replaced battery, i had a feeling that my mobile still was thinking that it uses old battery. No i think i will be using my mobile for a few more years and it is very good as i am happy with its quality and did not like the idea of buying new device just because of battery died. Very satisfied

Perfect genuine Sony product. I replaced old battery and no problems since. It even arrived several days ahead of scheduled delivery. Update: 3 months down the road and this battery has stopped working very disappointed.

Purchased this after my Xperia Z5 started loosing charge and randomly shutting down. Using the dialing keypad I typed in the 'magic number' that brings up the secret system menu, i.e. the number *#*#7378423#*#* and ran the battery check test - which showed immediately that the battery needed replacing. A quick look at a youTube video showed exactly how to make the change and the new battery, which was identical to the faulty one in my phone, took just ten minutes to replace. Having been quoted £80 by a local company for replacing the battery I am, needless to say, very happy indeed that I went down this self-repair route.

I hope this was new. Fixed phone time will tell.. Remember to order back gasket seal to. Seems OK.
