GeeekPi Case for Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W/Zero W, Aluminum Case, 20Pin GPIO Header, Micro USB to OTG Adapter, HDMI Cable, Copper Heatsink, ON/Off Switch Cable (Black)

It was a nicer case than I was expecting. I use it for a device I throw in my bag when I go down the coffee shop. I like that it protects the device and still allows header pins to be available. I popped the included heat sinks etc on but don't think I really need then for my use. It would be nice with some better instructions, but the photo on amazon was probably all I really needed, just be aware of the correct orientation of the base is needed to avoid contact with the header pins. No problems with wifi in the case or with the heatsink attached.

Originally, I was a bit suspicious about if the product actually worked for my PI Zero 2 W, but I bought it anyway and was shocked at the results. Upon running Pi OS desktop x32, the pi usually runs at a temperature of around 44–55 °C, depending of what I use it for, but with this case on it, the CPU usually stays at around 40–44 °C, which is a massive improvement. I can't wait to see the temperature once I start overlocking it! Just remember to use the thermal pads for the black core and gently tear off the blue tape on the copper heatsink for the silver core, as seen in the pictures.As for the extra adaptors, they also work rather well and are perfect for a starter pack, especially the power cord with that little shutdown switch and the mini to HDMI adapter. The only thing is that I wish this also came with a USB hub and a wall adaptor, but that may be too much for a cheap starter pack like this.Overall, a good purchase, for me at least. I hope those who are thinking of buying this have good experiences with it as well!

This isn't so much a "case" but rather super durable/solid top+bottom plates - but I'm not complaining! It looks great and since its also a heatsink when used with the included thermal pads its a nice combo.It includes a copper heatsink, but I can't seem to figure out where it goes. It obvioulsy should block the wifi/bluetooth chip, and is too thick to be placed on top of the processor and used with the case, so it seems useless from what I can tell.Im only reviewing the case - and I like it! The other little gadgets/connectors I havent tested yet.

I really only wanted a case but was impressed at everything that was included. I ended up needing a GPIO header as well so this was a nice bonus. It fits in the case nicely and doesn't pose a risk of shorting so long as you assemble it correctly. There's a gap on one side of the case that gives enough clearance. You need to insert it into the pi, short side down, then solder it from the back.

the case fit well and didn't seem to affect the wifi.but I am substracting 1 start because the copper heatsink is missing from the package

Good little starter kit for the Pi Zero. Don't know why there is a heatsink for the WiFi/BT chip.

il coupe un peu le WiFi mais il dissipe tellement bien la chaleur que c’est mon meilleur choix.. il est élégant, solide et efficace.. ne pas oublier d’enlever les deux cotés plastifiés sur les tampons thermiques et si le boîtier semble basculer, c’est que vous vous êtes trompé avec les différentes épaisseurs de tampons (les plus minces vont sur les parties les plus hautes)..

Muy funcional. Trae el adaptador mini hdmi a hdmi, entre otros, y la carcasa metálica es perfecta. No he probado el wifi con ella, pero a priori parece buena compra.

Par rapport au boitier officiel rouge et blanc, j'ai gagné presque 10°C. J’avais déjà ce genre de boitier sur PI 4 et j'en étais satisfait. Bien sûr, dans les utilisations extrêmes avec des processeurs à 100% pendant longtemps ces montages atteindront leur limite mais pour moi (serveur web et crontab récurrents) rester aux alentours de 40~45°C me convient bien.

Meinen Pi Zero 2W befindet sich in der Einhausung meines 3D Druckers. Ursprünglich verwendete ich das Original Pi Kunststoffgehäuse mit Halterung für die Kamera. Mangels ausreichender Kühlung, meldete das Gerät andauernd eine drohende Überhitzung. Mit diesem Vollmetallgehäuse schaut es wesentlich besser aus, Auch wenn die Kamera nun nicht mehr im Gehäuse verbaut ist. Der Adapter von Micro auf USB A ist ebenfalls nützlich, aber das alles brauchte ich gar nicht. Für circa 10 € sehr günstiges und sinnvolles Set.
