Love this. This is a replacement for one that I knocked off the counter by accident.

I bought this bottle for liquor, not for oil. It's durable, beautiful and easy to use. I was searching for a bottle to hold liquor and I could only find crystal decanters (too fancy and not practical) or novelty type dispensers. This is exactly what I was looking for and I absolutely love it!

I waited to review this product until I had really used it for a few months. I am in love with this dispenser. I found it through other reviews from people like you and I wanted to review it properly. As a major home cook who's oil of choice is evoo, I was frustrated with the many dispensers I bought over the years that dripped, clogged and even dropped their dispenser tip into my food! I wasn't crazy at first about the shape of this one, but there is total thought into Rachael's design. It feels good in your hand and you have REAL control over the amount you drizzle. The little protective cap opens easily and closes perfectly. I have never had an extra drip, nor is there ever oil on the outside of my dispenser or a ring on my counter. The outside is a breeze to clean due to the shape. The only thing to clean on the outside is what I put on it by having flour on my hands or something when I pick it up.At first I was wary of the fact it is opaque and I couldn't tell how much oil was in it, but then realized that the oil stays fresher with no light getting to it. And it only took a couple of weeks use to where I could tell just by picking it up how full it was.Although the stopper stays firmly in place and doesn't drip, it's very easy to remove for refilling, and it's parts do not come apart when you remove it.I wouldn't post a recommendation for this product if I didn't really mean it. I rely on honest reviews from others when spending my hard earned dollars. I plan to put another dispenser on my xmas wish list in a different color for my canola oil. And because this one performs so well, I plan to check out Rachael's vinegar dispensers.

I spent a lot of time combing through the web to find a quality oil dispenser. As many of you may know, these bottles can be priced outrageously -- especially if you are looking for one that is lightproof. So, being a college student, the search looked pretty hopeless until I stumbled upon this gem.Olive oil is best stored in containers that do not let light through, which is surprising when you see how many glass containers are on the market. This product not only meets this standard, but is truly made of high-quality materials.Not only does this bottle store your oil safely and pour it cleanly, but it also has a fun and distinctive look. The purple bottle looks just like an eggplant, which makes a lot of people smile. I'm always getting comments on this bottle from my housemates, family, and friends whenever they come over. Why not make cooking a little more fun (as if it wasn't already)?My only complaint about this bottle is that it is prone to a lot of dripping, simply because of the way the neck is curved. It takes a couple seconds to tease the oil back down, but because I have not owned any other olive oil dispensers before, I am not sure if this problem is unique to this design or not.Overall, I highly recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a fun and cheaper alternative to the other oil dispensers on the market.

I love the size, shape and the color purple of this item. I use a funnel to fill it and put it in the dishwasher to clean because hand washing would not work. I liked it so much that I purchased another one in lime green color and I put olive oil in one and peanut oil it the other. The handle is perfect for pouring and it is easy to control the amount of oil to pour. They look great on my counter. Small complaint, because it is solid you can’t tell how much is in the bottle you have to judge by weight.

I have just started cooking so I'm a novice. I love Rach & just moved into my own apartment so I wanted to decorate and have things that were always deemed as unnecessary in my house. Therefore, a purple oil dispenser was right up my alley! My favorite color is purple and I always admired this dispenser when watching Rachael Ray cook on her show.That being said, I have 2 complaints that are similar to others reviews: 1. You cannot see how much oil is in the holder - I've adjusted by underestimating (I learned my lesson from a MESSY disaster when I first used it) and 2. Although warned about there not being a cushion at the bottom, there's not cushion at the bottom. I am aware of sliding it and placing it down hard, but this is an easy adjustment that I think should be taken into consideration.Lastly, someone mentioned there was a funnel that came with theirs... There was no funnel in mine. That's a disappointment!!

I love this product! It is very comfortable to use - and I have arthritic hands. It's comfortable to hold. The design / flow cap allow for well controlled dispensing of your oil; haven't had any problems with to much coming out to fast. Also, I love the fact that the oil doesn't drip down the flow spout/ bottle. I DON'T have to be ready to catch any drips with a paper towel. This color makes me happy every time i bring it out of my cupboard for use; and if I had more counter space, I would leave it out by my stove as the sculptural design is really artistic/elegant - an unexpected pleasure in a kitchen. I would recommend it to anyone who cooks at home. Don't limit it to containing your EVVO - I could see it holding all types of oils and vinegars too. A cook who has a variety of oil and vinegar types could buy different colored bottles for each designated product. You can feel confident bringing this bottle of EVVO to your table for use and your guests will no doubt comment on it's stylish appeal!
