Best thing is clearness for riding at night...I also carry the smoke one with me for day riding...I wish Scorpion made the connector tips just a bit stronger though..I had to replace the smoke one once already because the clip end broke.Always pull straight out and not at an angle when changing lenses

At $35 I feel like the seller's taking advantage of the fact I couldn't find a gold tinted visor of this type anywhere else! As with the dark smoke version and most sunglasses and visors of this type, it isn't as dark as it appears in the deceptive picture and these are the reasons I gave only a 4 star rating.Tint isn't bad, but if you look at the center of the posted pic right where the nose supposedly fits, that's about how dark it looks from the inside. Very lightly tinted. You could ride at night with a good headlight or other vehicle/street lights as in town or city night driving, but do so at your own risk as it is slightly tinted. Folks looking into it can't see your eyes and will see a gold mirrored reflection even at night, as expected.If inside or outside in lower light, folks could just see your face profile from the side. At a passing glance it's not easy to define unless they're looking intently. It fit's the Harley Davidson 3-in-1 X04 helmet perfectly. It glides up and down flawlessly and fits the grove in the chine guard tightly so no wind blows past. Easily installed just as the factory visor is mounted. Placed side by side it's a perfect match with exception of the tint.Mine arrived with no scratches as others have commented, but it came inside a crinkly plastic bag that's designed to hang in a retail store. It could've been scratched had someone set something heavy on it, or even broken as Amazon put it in one of their paper envelopes to ship. Thankfully mine suffered neither of those incidents and arrived flawless.I wouldn't use a gas station paper towel, or even TP or napkins to wipe or clean it. I suggest you use a soft cleaning cloth made to clean glasses and photo lenses to prevent scratching it. Things happen! I'd pay close attention to how you treat and clean it. Don't use sprays etc, or your sleeve/shirt! Just a slightly moistened soft eyeglass or photo lens wipe if needed. Just my 2¢. Enjoy!

I have owned a couple silver sunvisors so I know how delicate they can be. I was horrified when i saw the USPS tracking number on my order but luckily mine arrived without damage. The packaging is terrible so there is a high chance of receiving a damaged visor (crunchy plastic wrap for hanging in stores inside of a bubble envelope). But the visor fit and looks great. the only flaw i found was at the top which looked to be from manufacturing but it is in a place hidden by the helmet so no big deal. I expect like any other silver finish it will start to chip after a few rocks and large bugs but IMO it looks better than the dark tint.
