Prevents the robot from scratching and denying furniture, baseboards and trim. However, still leaves black smudges everywhere.

This works just fine. Function was it is okay. Definitely gives me mental peace that my furniture is not getting chipped. It's easy to attach. I cut it in half length wise as my robo's bumper was thinner. The adhesive is okay. Coming off at edges but sticks back when I press. I felt it was a bit more expensive, but this was the best deal.

These are Roomba essentials if you want to save your furniture form being beat up. I have several Roombas and have had to buy these protectors for all of them. I balk at the price, but whatcha gonna do? It looks like Roomba could pony-up 5 cents (they can't be that expensive to make) and provide at least one, especially when you buy a $900 Roomba.

This product is just shy of being perfect. The problem is the material can still scuff up white base boards so be careful!!! Here is what you do. Install them on just the bottom of your Roomba. Then take clear packing tape and put a layer over top of the bumper. We have had ZERO scuffs since then! Adhesive is a little weak so plan accordingly.

Does the job but kept falling off my robot vacuum so I used strong glue and it serves its purpose. I don’t have to worry about my vacuum scratching the furniture, door, or walls anymore.

If your model uses a clean base be sure to apply the strips in a manner that does not impede the docking ability. See attached photo of our i8/i7 install. Yours will look cleaner, thanks to my trial and error approach. If the tape is applied as shown in my photo your clean base can detect and empty the device automatically. Otherwise the Roomba will flash red one time upon docking, the base will not empty and no error messages will appear in the app at all!

I adhered the tape to my irobot 5e without any issues. Make you clean the exterior of your robot first, then install BELOW the sensor on the front of your robot. Ensure you press down firmly for a good seal. I was provided with a decent amount of tape, so all should be fine.

The bumpers do help when the robot runs into the furniture legs. It softens the blow and prevents chipping of finish.
