This is book 3 in an incredible series. The love the sisters have for their alpha male is heart warming and each book is so different. They make you read more and more and none of the storylines are boring or predictable. These books are emotional, exciting and a tear jerker too., Oh and the loving is red hot! Cannt wait to read book 4 x

This book is really good, loved delving into Gemma’s story. I had mixed feelings about the main characters. The FMC always feels like she needs to fall on her sword and sacrifice herself for everyone even when it’s not warranted. Granted, her parents are mainly to blame, but still. The MMC makes rash decisions with far reaching consequences and gets surprised when not everyone sides with him when 💩 hits the fan. I understand that they are star crossed lovers and the odds are stacked against them from the start but some of the things they did made me want to scream into a pillow!Loved Cleo’s pep talk when Gemma came back to NY. So much truth in there.I also loved Dem and Ras’ bromance and Rafaele’s unexpected kindheartedness. Also, Churro. :)Overall, well written dark romance that I would highly recommend. Even though this was an ARC read all opinions are my own honest opinions. Where do I begin … I literally devoured this. Ras+Gemma have my heart. The way Ras’s character was introduced to the reader already made him likeable but his book sealed the deal. His humour, wit and personality was the best thing about this book. The flow of the situations he was in and how each chapter peeled a layer to reveal how complex he actually is was an absolute pleasure to read. Add the spice and chemistry that Gemma brings made the book captivating. What I loved about Gemma is how she complimented Ras, she wasn’t there to change him or make him a ‘better’ man despite her views on the Camorra and when she finally understood him was quick to realise her mistake and learn from them. Even when they were in their enmity stage their dynamic was so engaging it didn’t feel forced and is what made it difficult to stop reading! And the spice ugh! The build up to their relationship was delicious every little angst filled moment was worth the result in the end!Honestly Gabrielle you have this ability to make me instantly fall in love with your characters. From the moment we were introduced to these two I was dying to read their book and boy it did not disappoint. The angst, chemistry and flow made it impossible to stop reading. I was trying my absolute best to stop myself screaming on the train while reading this. It’s clear how dedicated you are in your writing because every book in this series reflects the same passion and quality as the first book I keep saying this but it’s a fact this is a 5⭐️ series and just keeps getting better and better Gabrielle you have the best releases of 2023 for me. If you’re looking for a mafia series to immerse yourself in look no further you will not regret it!

I love a good slow burn and this was one of them. Ras, Dem’s underboss and Gemma, Vale’s sister.I really liked Ras. He went for what he wanted and didn’t care for the repercussions. He put her first.I was less thrilled with Gemma, especially her decision near the end, but I liked their interactions and their chemistry.It can be read as a standalone for sure.I really enjoyed it and I can’t wait to learn about Cleo.This is my favourite so far and maybe I’ll read it again at some point.-Dual 1st person POV-Spice: 🌶️🌶️.5Overall: 4.5/5 ⭐️

Love it !Enjoyed it!Adored it. I love Ras so much how his possessiveness for Gemma.So happy for them , couldn't stand her parents though.Sex scenes beautiful and very nice.

My rating ⭐⭐⭐⭐ spice 🌶️🌶️🌶️I really enjoyed this book after reading the first 2 books.I would've liked more to Ras and Gemma but I'm assuming we'll have some glimpses of their future life in book 4 (well I'm hoping).Definitely worth a read but I wouldn't really say it's dark mafia, that might just be me because I've read alot of dark books but I still really enjoyed it.

I enjoyed these 3 books in this series, first time reading this author's work and I'm going to see what else she's written.

This story has had me hooked and I've struggled to put it down to 'adult'! Keep writing amazing books please!!

I KNEW they were going to be my favourite people ever, from the first moment in When She Unravels, when Ras mentioned he was going to NY to deliver the phone to Gemma I was like “Am I about to get obsessed with them?” and they, of course, delivered.Prepare yourself for this book. Like seriously, finish your chores, leave early from work, finish your hw, because GemmaRas will catch you to finish their story without a break. Trust me, been there. Also, not me downloading this book at 5:00 am or something. I need to sleep.The book is long, and very well written and the pace was on point. Love it!! Make sure to check TW tho.Now, about the characters. Gemma and Ras were destinated. They started off on the wrong foot, and while I missed the banter from the other books, it wasn’t really how they are. There is so much love, cherishes, cheesy love, and all from them.Gemma also known as Peaches, was a heroine that has been through a lot from the abuse and manipulation from her parents but she stands because of her determination to protect others - and while she does make a lot of mistakes, as the story advances, you will see she grows up beautifully. Realising that you can’t save them all. It’s okay to be selfish. People make choices and mistakes and it’s not up to you to save them with you as a sacrifice.Ras who will be also known as husband, phew.That’s my man right there. Not, but SERIOUSLY, this man is fire, I can’t even. I never felt more single.Ras was the perfect match for Gemma. He had a past that hurt him deeply and swore he wouldn’t love again and all. But the connection he felt with Gemma, it was like what past love? lmao.It was cute to read his inner speech about he would put an end to his attraction and all but then Gemma would appear and smile at him or even say hi and he would swoooon .Oh, and I picture him into this big teddy bear with all love and cuddles for Gemma but will be ready to go berserk if you breathe wrong around her. Love it.I can’t describe in words the love he felt for her. It was powerful, that not even his duty as an underboss and even risking his friendship with Damiano and his own life could take him away from Gemma. This man was obsessed.We get some glimpses of past couples – ValeDamiano and MariGiorgio and that makes me want to re-read their books. Aaaaand there is a new couple, my friends. The last sister, Cleo is getting her book and I won’t tell you who her man will be. That’s a surprise although I kinda feel you’ll know it right away.

Gemma is supposed to marry a powerful man. Ras, who works for Gemma's brother-in-law, doesn't like her at all. Gemma hates Ras. But because of some situations, Ras has to look after Gemma. Surprisingly, he takes really good care of her and starts to care about her. Ras had a bad experience with love before, but he can't help but fall for Gemma. He wants to protect her from a forced marriage and her father's abuse. He's even willing to give up anything for her. The romance in this book is full of tension, especially because I felt really sorry for Ras. But overall, it's a great love story, and I really enjoyed it.

I‘m obsessed with this book. Ras is amazing. And Rafaele is also amazing. Still waiting for the next book I hope it’s his and Cleo’s story. Would recommend it to anyone. It’s my favorite book right now.

Ras is the first person in her life who shows her that she is enough.I did not think Ras would top any of the other heroes in the series and boy was I wrong! He is the perfect mix of a cheeky playboy who will burn the world down for the one he loves. The fact he was willing to risk his standing in the Camorra and, in turn, his life for Gemma make me swoon. Honestly, I couldn’t pick anymore more perfect for Gem.

Gabrielle Sands has written a wonderful series! A perfect mix of suspence, mystery, crime, love & lust! I didn’t read them in order, but I enjoyed every word.Don’t miss a word
