This journal doesn't have super thick paper, but it feels nice to write on and for simple journaling or taking notes, it's perfect! I wouldn't use markers on it, but it's a great price for a nice journal. Would make a nice gift as well!

I like this journal very much. At the top of each page is a place to mark the date, day of the week, and Topic. I did not like the way that looked when I first saw it but it is in fact extremely useful.The journal is very attractive and the perfect Size. When I have finished with this one, I will buy another one. Price was also fair for the quality of this journal. So many others are just ridiculously over priced.EDIT: So I bought another one of these and came back to review it but Amazon would only let me update my previous review. The frist journal I bought was the medium grey one which as I said I like very much. The second one I chose is the Rose Gold one which is just beautiful. I was expecting the pale pink you see in the picture, but it really is a lovely Shimmery Rose Gold. I could not be happier. I hope they will make these in even more colors because I anticipate buying several more of them. They are excellent quality and truly beautiful and if they were in Barnes and Noble would easily be $ 20. or more. I did not See any other journals on Amazon as nice as these in this price range and I do not want to pay $25. for a journal.I think anyone who buys these will be very happy with them.

The journal is perfect for everyday use, it's nice and thick the color is amazing it's easy to use the paper is nice and thick as well so you will have no bleed through.

It's nice and decent price. It doesn't have a band you put around it to keep closed when not in use. I mistakenly thought it did.

I am loving this lined journal. There is a space for the date, even to note the weather! I had intended it for a companion to another book I’m studying, but have tried to use it for daily journaling as well. It feels so nice to the touch. I like the ribbon place marker too. This does everything I need it to do. A good purchase.

Beautiful journal for the money. Considering that its not spiral its a little bit harder to write on the left side at the beginning as it doesn't lay flat for writing but will be easier the more pages that are filled up.
